More drink combinations!
Lemonade and any variant of a citrus soda! You need about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of lemonade and the rest soda to have a nice fizzy lemonade!
10/10 I make it all the time!
Alternatively you can pour oat milk into it to make sparkling oat milk. I would’ve used cream but due to curdling issues I didn’t so that’s on the back burner for another day. It did curdle though, just drink it faster like mountain milk.
8/10 pretty good! Very creamy from the oat milk, oat milk that fizzes with a hint of lemon!
I made a drink I call a Sunset Shirley
So I like to experiment with making drinks sometimes, and I made this one that I really enjoy and that I am currently enjoying as I write this post, and I'd like to share it with all of you.
I call it a Sunset Shirley because it's basically a shirley temple with peach juice in it. And the peach juice along with the red the cherry juice makes the drink look like a sunset. It also has kind of a tropical taste to it.
Here's a picture I took of the first one I made by my fireplace.
I dunno if I made anything new, but I'm pretty proud of this discovery. I've got a recipe for it under the cut if anyone's interested. I may or may not start posting more about drinks I make and the recipes for them.
I can't believe I haven't experienced the wonderful world of "Arnold Palmers," until now...
Word of advice: don't make an "original" mix by combining premade lemonade and sweet tea, the high sugar content will make your heart nearly explode-- even if you're a very physically active and healthy person! Seriously, I was worried I'd have a heart attack right on the factory line. So, always go with the already-made stuff that will have a lower sugar content, compared to your over 100g sugar content from combining two different drinks...
Well, at least I'm not afraid to be daring, I guess.
It's 9:45pm, time for mama's daily dose of Kahlua and Hawaiian Punch.
