One of the things of having diabetes and psoriasis is having really dried cracked lips. In the past I’ve used Chapstick and Burt’s Bees but over the years it just didn’t work for me anymore. My lips would constantly get really dried, chapped & cracked to where it bleeds.
I experimented with some of the First Aid Beauty (FAB) products and one of them was the FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy. It does help moisturized my lips a lot however I feel that it wasn’t as strong enough because my lips would just soak it up. Then a good friend of mine recommended Smith’s Rosebud Salve balm and while it was good- like the FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy it was soaked up by my lips. HOWEVER, when I used both products together with applying the FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy and then the Smith’s Rosebud Salve I found that it moisturized my lips longer. A lot of the dead lip skin would flake off but it’s less painful then when it was cracked. I apply these two almost on a daily basis during the winter time but with spring and summer maybe every other 3-4 days. It works very well. I bought these products at Sephora but Ulta Beauty and even Amazon carries it too.

Removing the dead skin from dried lips
Slather on some lip balm or Vaseline on your lips for a few minutes, wait for it to get absorbed so the dried skin becomes a little soft. Take a tissue preferably a kitchen towel and rub you lips and voila!
