do you think drex's redemption arc was earned?
I would have loved to see a contentious, drawn out redemption arc had Danger Force not had its legs cut out from underneath it.
Imagine the Henry and Ray angst, bitterness and betrayal, and Henry being checked tf out because he's done. Imagine Ray admitting he's a broken man and forgave in a moment of loneliness and weakness. Imagine Buddy having a lil evil arc and Henry having to neutralize him, but NOT having to put his hands around Buddy's throat or try to kill him. Imagine Drex having to confront his nature/nurture/future. Imagine Buddy going no contact for a bit when he realizes his dad would have willingly, gleefully tried to kill Miles, Mika, Chapa and Bose a few short years ago. Imagine very mortal Drex willingly sacrificing his life for DF kiddos or something in the S6 finale (Buddy's off fighting his mom with Ray, so he's not even there), and that being his true redemption after years of trying. He doesn't actually die, Schwoz saves him, but yk. That would have been cool.
