Being able to go to the library between classes has honestly been one of my favorite things about returning to campus. I’ve missed the library so much, so I’m soaking up all the calm academic vibes

My Fall 2021 Notion Setup
This is currently the main pages that I have in my Notion at the moment, it will likely change as I continue to tweak things but this is what I have so far! I've been using Notion for quite a while now, maybe around 2 years at this point and so I think I've figured out a system that works well for me. I recently updated it though to give it more of a theme and so far I am absolutely in love with it. Let's jump into it!
The Meadow
First up is my homepage which I call The Meadow! I have pictures that I love as headers for all my most-used pages, such as this beautiful field that helps me feel at peace. My main task tracker is called my "master get-to-do list" and I've been using this system for a long time and it works well for me. Basically, I put in all my assignments and tasks for the quarter into this table at the beginning of the quarter when we get our syllabi and then schedule tasks for when I'll want to do them (adjusting the details and dates of them as the quarter goes by). Then, on my homepage I'll filter the tasks so only the ones set for that day show up, giving me an easy view of what I need to do that day. If y'all want more info about how I make it and how it works then definitely let me know and I can make a post about it!
The Library
Next up is The Library, which is my academic hub. I keep all my class pages in here as well as info for my extracurriculars. I also have some of my favorite study playlists embedded, plus a calendar view of my master get-to-do list mentioned previously. I like visualizing it in multiple ways, and this view is a bit better for planning things out longer-term in my opinion!
The Cottage
Then I have The Cottage, which is sort of a personal page that has all my mental and physical health pages within it. It's a bit random but it makes sense to me which is what matters!
The Art Shed
This page is where I keep all of my hobby information, such as tracking books I've read, keeping lists of recommendations, brainstorming social media post ideas, and keeping pages about whatever art projects I'm working on at the moment. I also have this book tracker that's linked to the one on my homepage to keep me reminded that I want to make an effort to read more frequently outside of school. I also track my books on GoodReads, so follow me on there if you're interested!
The Vault
As for the last page I'll be showing you today, this is where I keep all my important information, such as school admin info, expense tracker, etc. I also share a cleaning list with my roommates (similar format to my master get-to-do list previously mentioned) that I keep in here as well.

I'm a big fan of using Notion and I love how you can make systems and pages that work for you and your lifestyle. I highly recommend it (not sponsored haha) especially to students since you can sign up for free using a school email address. Let me know if you want me to go more in-depth about any of the pages mentioned today, I'd be happy to make follow-up posts!

Did some journaling outside today when I was feeling overwhelmed, thankfully felt a lot better afterwards. Also, I really appreciate you <3

I think that reading slumps are the bane of every bookworm’s existence, but recently I’ve been pulling myself out of a months-long reading slump by enjoying some books that I loved as a kid. They’re easy and quick to read, enjoyable and nostalgic, plus they fill me with that wonder I got as a kid when I would raced through like ten books a week. I’m currently reading Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, one of my all-time favorites and I’m loving every bit of it!

Doing some journaling while sitting on our porch in the sunshine! ☀️
This past week I started spring quarter online and it’s super weird and hectic, but hopefully this weekend will give me the chance to get more organized and ahead of my work so that it won’t be as stressful next week!
Have you made a study schedule to help you study at home?
Week 1, Monday of @myhoneststudyblr's studyblr quarantine challenge!
Since being at home for spring quarter and doing online classes, I've found it to be super helpful to have a daily routine in place so that I can stay more on track instead of just staying in bed all day watching YouTube (which you can totally do if that's what you need, I just have a lot of schoolwork and other things I want to do each day so that wouldn't work for me right now). Here's what I try to do every day:
8:00 Wake up, drink some water
8:20 Shower, get dressed
8:35 Breakfast
9:00 Make bed, brush teeth
9:10 Duolingo practice
9:30 Journal
10:00 Schoolwork or free time
11:30 Lunch, check email
12:00 Schoolwork (on Thursdays I have class from 12-2 pm)
3:00 Long break
4:00 Schoolwork (I have class from 4-6 pm Mon-Thurs)
6:00 Go for a walk w/dad
7:00 Dinner w/parents
8:00 Free time (usually drawing, reading, or playing a board game w/my parents)
10:00 Stretching, meditate
10:30 Get ready for bed
10:45 Read in bed
11:15 Go to sleep!
Hey, you. Yes, you.
I hereby give you permission to hit the metaphorical reset button.
Take a deep breath, and then let it out slowly, paying attention to how it feels to let it out.
Get a drink of water, drink it mindfully, and then reset and go from there.
Start a new habit that you keep wanting to implement, become the person that you want to be. Make a conscious decision to become that person and live up to your full potential to the best of your ability.
