I was so close getting this camero for my rental! It was in budget for our allowance from the insurance company. Instead, I’m stuck with a mini van over budget we have to pay out of pocket for. #kidsmademedoit #dreamsdashed #yellow #camero #minivan #mom #momlife #momblogger #lifestyleblogger #blogger #rentalcar #caraccident #boo #car

:(
I have a friend who had a childhood dream of being a doctor. She still does. Yet her dream is dashed due to financial constraints. I felt quite sad for her as I could see her passion in medicine but due to the exorbitant tuition fees overseas, it seems like an unreachable goal. She said she saw the ultimate goal towards studying medicine, which is being a lifesaver for the patients who are in need of her medical treatments. It is so much more rewarding for her to take up medicine since she says she can help to save as much life as she could and her motivation comes from thinking about the patients who are waiting for her to cure them from their illness.
She is very inclined towards studying the anatomy of the human body ( which is demonstrated by her giving up studying life science since she felt that she had totally zero interest in plants and animals, only HUMANS hence she do not want to waste her time studying something that she don't like). She had the flair in remembering medical terms if she happened to chance upon them. However, she was not able to get into the medicine course in our local university, because of her less-than-perfection grade for Biology, which is actually a very important criteria for entrance in local medicine course in Singapore. Hence she took up the same course that I am taking, which is her second interest, However, her interest wanes just as the semesters past by. Hence, she started thinking about medicine again. Just recently, she told me that she just got to know from her friend that overseas universities only look at her other 3 best subjects (3 H2 subjects) as the admission criteria. Of course, my friend met the criteria, with only Biology grade being a blemish to her 'A' level performance. However the make or break factor is still money. D: I am not sure if she is able to find financial aid through other means but I really hope that she can pursue her life long passion. Don't we all agree that being able to pursue a life long passion makes our life even more meaningful?
On the side note, I also had some considerations on changing my course. " If you feel like doing it, Just Do It." Well, see how it goes then.
