这个学期，就像变化无常的四季，让人不知不觉，摸不着头绪地度过了每一天。我仿佛身在于寒冷的冬天里，在莫个漆黑的夜里拼命地寻找着在夜深人静的那道曙光。我希望能够让自己凭着那道光线暖和起来。在这条学习的道路上，一定不是一帆风顺的，哪怕风吹雨打还是雷电交加，只要我们有的是恒心，我们的道路上一定会越走越畅通。

Today marks the end of a torturing class whereby we had a 15 minutes presentation and a report submission last Friday. PF1105 had never been smooth ever since the group was formed. Together with my 2  other female team mates, we accepted a guy whom I know through one of the induction /orientation camps. He was thought to be that enthusiastic, that keen, that sporting, however, it was beyond imagination that he was the direct opposite of what was perceived of him. I was truly shocked by his unwillingness to work on our project.

I saw his true colours just a couple of hours back at 6p.m. after everyone has completed their part on the presentation and left for home. We all stayed back for a mini group meet up to discuss with the professor regarding the marks allocation issue. Apparently, all of us in one way or another thinks that his contribution was worth 5% of the whole/ entire report since he is basically a known slacker which pissed everyone of with his demanding/ authoritative replies in Whatsapp or even face-to-face interaction before this very day.

During this mass meet up, the prof. clarify with him on his contribution to our project. Certainly he had no other choice but to admit reluctantly that he has contributed minimum amount of work. However, he added a comment right after admitting his minimal efforts by saying my group isolated him and this hindered his intentions of wanting to help. All of us were like WHAT?!? Did you even offer your help when we need you to help in the first place?? In what position, are you trying to blame us for not including you in our project discussion when you never once shown a slight interest in the project and do the minimal contribution towards the project. Clearly, we are lacking the manpower and yet there you are, slacking and blaming others without reflecting upon yourself.

This year 2014 hasn't been that smooth as I thought, lady luck wasn't smiling to me. First it was my loss of my first set of retainers ( My dad threw in away at home when he wrapped it within newspapers before throwing it down to the main rubbish chute), then my instant blank-out during my FM midterms when my mind went hibernating right in the exam hall itself. I predicted that my results won't be great or promising. Then for economics, which I retook it the second time, I didn't score as well as I expect. Thinking of my situation as a repeat makes me feel sulky and my heart just sank right to the bottom as I checked my results online. Everything wasn't smooth, but I couldn't blame anyone else but only myself. Have been too committed in useless non-academic stuff. But it's these non-academic stuff that made me learnt stuff that I might not learn in class! It's like embarking on a learning journey everytime I am involved in site visits.

I have been trying to pull my socks up in recent weeks after my FM mid terms, and I don't know where to start. Even though my dad says he doesn't blame me for losing my retainers, but deep down, I know he still mind, since for every moment he gets fury, he will just use it to do personal attacks on me. And the set of new retainers cost him another $500, it just bombs a hole in his pocket. And he just commented about my economics grade AGAIN.

Ok, I shall not be bothered by it, if not I won't be able to move on. Have not been making any great progress over here. :D Stay happy! It's not worth to be angry when I can live my live in happiness. Hoping that lady luck will be smiling at me soon!

YES!!! I was just added into the whatsapp group for BEMS 45th Management committee! :D I was appointed to be the Corporate Relations Director and I hope that I will be able to do my best in the committee and benefit the students from RE and PFM! First time being accepted into the committee group. :D Hope all will be good!

My first ever good news for the day after a ultra tiring canoe polo session in the afternoon for 3 whole hours.

I am slowly beginning to grow fonder for my current course, provided that the actual rigour of the course has not been felt yet. However I feel that this is MUCH MORE INTERACTIVE & INTERESTING than numbers, data & mind boggling proofs which I THOUGHT I LIKED when I undertook a math course last year.

I like the relevance of what we learn to be applied to real world context. Just like today, my group and I went to Chinatown for site visits( you won't be able to get such things in mathematics). We are investigating building elements of shop houses. In which we are give 4 types of buildings to choose from, namely school, library, shop houses and factories. It's so interesting to discover the elements of buildings and have fun discussing the project as a group. Emphasizing on a collaborative effort to begin with. This can help train my interpersonal skill which is essential when I stepped into the workforce after 4 years.

:D So far so good. 

Currently I am taking 3 core modules and 2 biz mods.

True enough, I didn't regret taking the entrepreneurial marketing module because I felt that I had learnt so much more during the class. Even though there is an upcoming project which I am uncertain how it goes.Oh well. I think the best and more important aspect should be enjoy studying. Which now I trully do! :)

p/s: I have gone for the interview for NUS BEMS Corporate Relations Director and the reply on that day seems promising. However, I still don't receive any news which worries me. Hope good news would be here for me!
