Please pick the highest option of lucidity/control that you have experienced within at least the past five years. If you have no lucidity or control 99% of the time, but you had a full lucidity and full control dream even once in the past five years, then you would pick the "Full lucidity, full control" option.
*If you understand with certainty within the dream that it is a dream, that is full lucidity. If you have a general awareness that what you're experiencing isn't real but don't quite make the leap to "it's a dream," that is partial lucidity. If you never realize that what you're experiencing is fake and treat it as if it is fully real, that is no lucidity.
**If the dream bends to your will and you can make anything you want happen (even if it's difficult), that is full control. If you have some influence over the events of the dream but it can still move along its own path without your input, that is partial control. If the dream takes its own course and you have no influence over it even if you wish you did, that is no control.
I realize a lot of this is up to personal interpretation, so don't sweat about it, just pick whichever option seems to fit your experiences the best. A lot of people seem to believe that lucidity and control go hand in hand, but in my experience this is absolutely not the case, hence why I separated the options. I would be very eager to hear people elaborate on which option they picked in the tags or replies!
Recurring Dreams
My recurring dreams last year were, to say the least, polarizing. They inspired me to analyze the course of my life and make some necessary changes.
The most bothersome and anxiety-inducing dream usually involves me as a child catching the wrong school bus home. After researching, I learned that dreams of catching the wrong bus often highlight feelings of being off-course, facing challenges, or dealing with uncertainties about direction. I realized it might be worth reflecting on areas of my life where I feel out of control or unsure, and considering if any adjustments are needed in my personal or professional journey.
Another frequent recurring dream involves my teeth crumbling out of my mouth—not falling, but crumbling from my gums, like when you crush styrofoam between your fingers. Dreams of teeth crumbling or falling out are typically associated with feelings of vulnerability, insecurity, or fear of loss. They often point to anxiety about personal appearance, aging, communication struggles, or the need to cope with significant life changes. Examining areas of my life where I feel stressed, insecure, or powerless has helped me understand the underlying causes of these dreams, and this introspection seems to be the cornerstone of this chapter in my life.
The most terrifying recurring dream, however, typically involves me being in a falling elevator. Dreams of a falling elevator generally indicate fear, loss of control, and anxiety about personal, emotional, or life changes. They reflect feelings of instability, fear of failure, or concerns about my ability to handle difficult situations. To interpret this dream more specifically, I must consider the areas of my life where I feel insecure, overwhelmed, or like things are "falling apart." Hopefully, addressing these areas will help reduce the frequency of such dreams or provide clarity on the source of my anxiety.
While there is no magic wand to rid me of my anxiety, I’ve learned that my anxiety and fear don’t have to be something I dread or avoid. Instead, they can be something I lean into, allowing them to guide me into spaces where I feel safest. My dreams gave color to the sources of my anxiety. I realized in that moment that I could choose to rationalize them away or see the improvements that lay ahead if I changed the course of my life, fortified my stability by setting boundaries, and reassessed my fears about growing older. I reconnected with old loved ones, invested in herbal supplements that acted as natural antidepressants, and embraced the moments of silence life was forcing me into. I’m proud to say none of my bad dreams have returned since I took inventory of the causes and cleaned house—slowly, but consistently.

I woke up from a very upsetting dream this morning, I was in a far-northern town with a tiny society that would go on deadly 2k mile blizzard-pounded journeys with sled dogs and foxes. The temperatures were constantly below freezing, and the remains of those who didn’t survive were sent back home in small 2x2 boxes as solid blocks of ice.
I found myself one of the few survivors of the town, slowly being surrounded by more and more of these ice blocks of the dead, being asked what they should do next, and my real-life roommate came in with a wild fox that I had grown very attached to who had gone on one of these treks, frozen solid. As I grasped this poor animal in my arms, tears streaming down my face, rocking him and saying “My poor sweet baby! You sweet sweet little darling!” I woke myself up, incredibly upset, still uttering my mournful words.
Realizing it had been a dream, I grew infuriated, and shut my eyes to return to the dream. As this was my world in my mind, I assumed my role as its ruling god, and with a great scream I revived every soul lost on the foolish and suicidal tradition of this remote town. I then cast the entire area into an eternal Spring, so that not a single flake of snow would ever remain upon the ground, no matter how many blizzards tried to freeze the land.
I ushered the revived and renewed foxes, dogs, and rest of wildlife into this new Shangri-La, and slammed the humans responsible for such needless tragedy and suffering with terrible gales so they would only know the deafening howls of my absolute and livid contempt of them.
That’s when I chose to wake up.

Star Sailor is a visual emotive piece filmed by Caroline Mackintosh in collaboration with poet Lemonella and musician Leeu, who together wrote the song for Leeu’s upcoming album “Dream Control” coming out on Tal Der Verwirrung in the next coming month Inspired by Lemonella’s poem, Star Sailor, which talks about the nature of reality and what we choose to buy into. Around the idea of being ‘astronauts’ to our own subconscious and travelling deep within ourselves and finding the golden resources hidden within.

I just had the best lucid dream w magic n dragons. I realised I was lucid so I started trying to break nuts off a tree just with my powers, then I heard a pretty voice. I walked over to this tiny tiny house and looked through their screen door, there was a pretty girl so I knocked over a paper bin (w my powers) to get her attention. She saw me and fell in love with me but her sister lived there too (and hated magic) . Then skip forward and we are in this storm and her tiny house (legit one room guys) was leaking so I used my magic to fix it, we lied to her sister and said I fixed it by hand (she didn't believe us). Then I started having these nightmares of me with my dark crimson robes and battle ax/war hammer style weapon engulfed in flames but I was controlling it all. The dream was saying I had to kill my love and harness my true powers like I'm supposed to but I refused, then the dream would laugh maniacally and say soon I'd have no control and the darkness would take me. All of a sudden my dream was shaking and a voice bellowed in "WHERE'S MY CAVE?". I woke up and it was my damn dragon communicating with me via our telepathic bond. So I got outta my comfy cuddle w the girl and grabbed my cloak and weapon and stomped out into the cold. While he's fluttering to the floor he looks at me and says silently to the world but loud through our link "you've never made me wait this long for my cave before, I want it". I start dragging my weapon into the floor tearing up the grass creating a circle then an off center 'X' I fly off and come back dumping jewelry and skulls and mammoth tusks (old ones) around the circle. I then grumble "you might want to move if you don't want to become one with your stupid cave", the dragon responds "what's all this extra stuff for?" and I say "so you can drag it all into your den and force it to marry you or whatever you do with it". He gives me a grumpy look but moves as I fly into the sky ready to crash back down and make a cave. Then I wake up
