Dreadlocks Tag 1. How old are your dreads? They were born in November, 2011. 2. How many dreadlocks do you have? It's been a while since I counted, but last time I did, there were around 65 3. How long are they? Almost shoulder length. 5. How did everyone respond to them? Negatively? Positively? There were people who complimented them and people who gave me dirty looks, so it was both. 6. What do you LOVE about your dreads? They're easy to manage since i do no maintenance. they remind me to be natural and spiritual and to love myself. 7. What do you dislike about them? The ends are real chunky because of loops and shrinkage. 8. What are some of your pet peeves that come with having dreads? They take forever to dry, stuff gets stuck to them more easily. 9.Have you ever dyed them? Do you want to? If so, what colour? I haven't dyed any, nor do i want to. 10. Do you do any daily maintenance to your dreads? What are the steps included? As mentioned before, i dont do maintenance other than washing. 11. What dreadlock products do you stand by and why? Baking soda, sea salt, and acv for washing and conditioning.thats it. lockin up shampoo from dreadlockssite.com is really good. 12. Which products do you regret trying? Haven't tried any products other than lockin up shampoo 13. What method did you use to start your locks? Mostly twist n rip but some backcombing 14. How much did it cost to get them done? I did em myself, 0 15. What compliments have you ever received about your dreads? i like your dreads/hair 16. Have you Influenced anyone to start their own dread journey? I helped someone put theirs in, but they already knew they wanted them, so no. 17. Are you happy with how your dreadlocks look? Yep, for the most part. I might cut off the big lumps on the ends when they get longer. 18. What would you change about your locks if you could go back in time? Nothing that I can control 19. How do you normally style/wear your dreads? Down usually, sometimes up in a bun, and sometimes i wear a bandanna or tam. 20. How do you envision you and your dreads 5 years from now? Will you still even have them? They'll be longer and more awesome! I don't plan on getting rid of them any time soon.
