1. How old are your dreads?

They're just babies coming in on 5 weeks

2. How many dreadlocks do you have?

32 at last count, the downfall of thin hair 

3. How long are they?

Chest-ish length

5. How did everyone respond to them? Negatively? Positively?

My friend's nephew saw me the first week I had them, he's 8 and he was convinced they were fake. My work was accepting, they don't get it but they accept it. My mom/brother/most of my friends dig them and my dad, well, we have never seen eye to eye on things. 

6. What do you LOVE about your dreads?

Everyday is something new with them. Whether they decide to be frizzy or flat I really have little control over them.

7. What do you dislike about them?

I wish I had more, but pre-dreads I wish I had thicker hair. (I might remedy this soon with synthetics mixed in!) 

8. What are some of your pet peeves that come with having dreads?

Beads and sleeping, I don't think you really think about bead placement until one is digging into your head at 1:30 a.m. 

9. Have you ever dyed them? Do you want to? If so, what colour?

I'm so scared of breakage, like it's my biggest fear with them, that I probably won't but instead just add in a colored extension. 

10. Do you do any daily maintenance to your dreads? What are the steps included?

I don’t do anything about it. Unless I'm bored I like to palm roll a bit. 

11. What dreadlock products do you stand by and why?

Patience (stolen from the last tag because it's true) 

12. Which products do you regret trying?

None 

13. What method did you use to start your locks?

- Back combing and T&R 

14. How much did it cost to get them done?

I had a friend do them :) 

15. What compliments have you ever received about your dreads?

That I'm "cool" or "in". I really love when people compliment them, but even more so I love the confidence they have brought me. 

16. Have you Influenced anyone to start their own dread journey?

I have spoke to people about starting but haven't followed up, hopefully! I have also broken a lot of stereotypes which I feel damn proud of. For instance, I work in politics and I have dreads. 

17. Are you happy with how your dreadlocks look?

Yep! 

18. What would you change about your locks if you could go back in time?

Hmm can't think of anything 

19. How do you normally style/wear your dreads?

Down or in a big top knot

Right under my boobs i guess :-D.

My mom said that i looked like a strange creature or a troll, but now she loves them. Most of my friends think they are great.

That they are all loopy and fuzzy

That they are shrinking a lot!

Don't have any..

Yes, i have dyed them a darker brown.

I don't do anything about it.

Patience and Aloe Vera!

- Back combing, T&R and chrocheting.

Free! I did them myself :-).

15. What compliments have you ever received about your dreads?

That they make my face look cute, that they are cool, that they smell nice and just in general "awesome hair!"

I sure am :-).

I would probably section them a bit better..

Most often i wear them down or in a ponytail
