Mac felt good, finally back in his suit doing what he best, no more cow-towing to a damn government agency just to keep himself outta prison. The city was everything it had promised and more. That damn clown had left madness in his wake and madness left several opportunities. Ones he’d been happy to make use of. His break-in to one of the cities most secure laboratories had gone smoothly and he not possessed samples of some of the most toxic animal venom in the world. 

Of course, he’s snuck a few into his suit, already stored away to be used as and when he needed, but the rest he’d sealed in a suit case and was waiting on the roof for his buyer to arrive. They’d done good business in the past, it was nice to be back at it. The display in his suit alerted him to June’s presence, the tail twitched slightly as he turned to face her. “Doctor.” he growled lowly, “Lovely to see you again.” 

Jihl didn’t too much time in the laboratory section of the NOVA building, she left that to the experts. But there were times she needed to be kept abreast of advancements and times when she preferred to be present to see their good-work come to fruition. This afternoon she wanted to check in with June. Considering NOVA had been bankrolling her research. She’d invited the other to headquarters and waited in the lab till she arrived.
