The thought of Nakamigawa Hiroaki, Damon Maitsu, and Acapacio Russi interacting.
All three of them are prideful neurodivergent douchebag gay protagonists who, intentionally or not (the latter in Damon's case) get VERY attached to a particular person (Takeshi, Eva, and Felicity, respectively).
I'd imagine that both Acapacio and Nakamigawa would be their usual boastful selves, only for Damon to instantly shut the both of them down. The former would instantly back down, like "Oh...sorry...", while the latter would be all "EEK! TAKESHI!".
I believe that Damon, especially in a trial system, would find Acapacio's talent infinitely more useful (though not more useful than his own), compared to Hiroaki's (that is, until he finds out how surprisingly well he does in the trials, fear of blood, notwithstanding),
Also, in contrast to Damon and Nakamigawa, who stand in opposition with their respective well-meaning leader figures (Wolfgang and Sasaki, respectively), Acapacio is the BIGGEST YESMAN for his own leader figure (Felicity). Which makes me wonder how they would function in their respective killing games.

You said you updated your bullshit rulings list, can we hear?
//Alright I suppose its long overdo.
//If you guys recall, last year, wow really last year? Time flies does it? ANYWAY, I did a ranking of what I consider the most BS culprit rulings.
//These are culprits who were declared culprits via being culprits on rule technicities, if they were the victim of a frame job, masterminds playing dirty or any other reason. Now since last year I've been exposed to more Fangans and as such the list has increased as a result. Unfortunate but as long as people keep doing this, this rulings will be in a constant state of improvement.
//Therefore I feel its time to redo this list. I will list who I believe is the most BS of all the culprits I've seen. Bear in mind this is from Fangans I'm aware of so if a culprit isn't on here its because I haven't seen them.
//And I will also show what their previous standing was to show if they dropped at all since well with new entries this is bound to happen.
//As all are major spoilers its going below the cut.
At the bottom of the list is our good old bug boy Gonta and yeah this was a unfair situation he was in as he got tricked by Kokichi into killing Miu, and furthermore due to the headset malfunction he couldnβt even remember what he did.
Thing is though, Gonta still consented to the murder. Yes Kokichi was tricking him, but its still on Gonta for listening to Kokichi, which after Chapter 2, should have been a reminder to not trust him. I know people are gonna be like βBut RA, Gonta is stupid of course he wouldnβt know otherwise.β No. Gonta is naive and not culturally aware, but heβs NOT braindead stupid, he DOES learn from bad experiences and furthermore he already had a lesson in why Kokichi is not to be trusted.
I suspect the Flashback Light might have had something to do with it but point being this is the weakest BS ruling since as tragic and sad as it is, Gonta did the crime, and he did the crime by his own free will, its just he doesnβt remember what he did.
Moving away from that, now we are into the actually unfair rulings and Kaede is a square contender seeing how she didnβt ACTUALLY kill Rantaro, Tsumugi did and she framed her for the crime. Its a miscarriage of justice done by the Mastermind, so why again is it ranked so low?
Because Kaede WOULD have killed Rantaro normally, its just her shotput trap missed, and thatβs something she didnβt predict would occur, plus she had the intention and means to kill the Mastermind, for as unfair as this ruling is, Kaede was NOT innocent in this matter, she fully prepared to commit a murder and it was just dumb luck she wasnβt the killer. Tsumugi just made sure her fuck-up was not a fuck-up.
Tsumugi furthermore didnβt mess with the rules or make the game unfair, she just did a thing in the background to ensure the murder plot went smoothly and since this was Chapter 1β¦narrative wise you could excuse her for doing such a thing.
#14 Nikei Yomiuri (Super Danganronpa Another 2)
Previous Ranking: #9
Status: Unchanged, just more entries
Huh? Why is Nikei so low, didnβt I rant and moan about how his ruling was BS? Well yes I do, and the means Nikei got executed IS extremely unfair and basically Mikado rigging the rules as he pleases, which I am NOT happy about but the reason why he gets a low ranking is for the same reason why Kaede is low; Nikei was not innocent in this at all.
At the end of the day, Nikei is still a Void member, AKA the masterminds behind the Utsuroshima Killing Game, and his reasons for rebelling are extremely shallow, he isnβt gaining a moral conscious about how Void is operating, nor is he developing compassion for the cast and defected for that, no he did it because heβs butthurt that Mikado stole his leadership slot away and heβs doing all of this out of pure spite. All the bad events in Chapter 4 were HIS doing.
Besides some people might think Iβm mad Chapter 4 got changed because my fav died. No, I fully accept Nikei was never making out of SDRA2 alive, but I believe he would have died in Chapter 5 instead of Chapter 4 and the way it was set up would be leagues better then what we got but because LINUJ thought Ryoheiβs shitty plan was too similar Nikei had to get executed due to A CERTAIN MOTHERFUCKING POLICE OFFICER WHO I WANT TO-
*Deep Breathes* Wrong time for thatβ¦wrong time for the rage. Also I think the others on this list are worse so take that would you will.
#13 Kyoko Kirigiri in the Bad Ending (Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc)
Previous Entry: #8
Status: Unchanged, just more entries
Now I know some are gonna question how Kyoko can be on here seeing sheβs a survivor. Weelll see Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc has two endings. And this crosswords comes in Chapter 5, where during your fight against Kyoko, she points out she cannot get into her room because Byakuya confiscated her room key so she cannot have committed the crime. Makoto however, knows this is wrong as Kyoko has a master key that allows her access to any room, but heβs getting the sense something is wrong with the Class Trial. And so you are given a choice, either call Kyoko out on her lie, or stay silent. The good ending has Makoto clamping his mouth shut where he gets voted as the culprit and gets saved by Alter Ego.
However a blind player isnβt gonna do this, they are gonna do what they do in every Class Trial, call out Kyokoβs lie and as soon as the Master Key is exposed, Monokuma goes βTIMEβS UPβ everyone votes Kyoko and she gets executed in the same execution that Makoto did in the Good Ending. Except she gets killed.
Naturally the fact the trial was rigged and Kyoko was killed in such a manner was unfair and normally this would be a lot higherβ¦if it wasnβt for the fact its a bad ending and thus not canon. So points are deducted on that, but just understand this would be a LOT higher if it was part of the normal timeline.
We are now in what I call the Chapter 5 ganulet where all the unfair Chapter 5 rulings are and next up is Chiakiβs ruling. This one is BS because its part of Nagitoβs insane plan to get everyone killed.
Chiaki didnβt consciously kill Nagito, its just the cast realised Nagito had the traitor the only person he considers good kill him and by that logic it has to be Chiaki since she works for Future Foundation. Its a horrible, horrible ruling all based on Nagitoβs BS powers, but had Kyokoβs death been canon, I would have Chiaki as the bottom of the Chapter 5 rulings for one reason and one reason only; she had a fair trial.
There was no Mastermind shenanigans in Chapter 5, and no trials being rigged, this trial was done straight and clean, and thus the pill while bitter to swallow is more or less βfair.β Which I cannot say for those going forward is when unfair BS is on full swing.
#11 Mikako Kurokawa (Danganronpa Another)
Previous Ranking: #6
Status: Unchanged, just more entries
If you want to know what Kyokoβs trial would have been like had it been canon well DRA has you covered with Mikakoβs ruling. She didnβt even kill Yamato, that was all Monokumaβs doing and she was left in a state where she is unable to defend herself, and furthermore he rushed the trial so the truth cannot be reached.
This is made even worse by the fact that Mikako was slowly dying due to the brain chip malfunctioning due to her strong emotions throughout the whole thing, and she even dies before getting executed since Monokuma is THAT petty. Btw had Kyokoβs been canon she would be between Chiaki and Mikako since at least Kyoko was given a chance to defend herself, whereas Mikako didnβt really have many chances to defend herself for a crime she 100% did not commit and was done by the Masterminds to eliminate her.
There's another entry here, but I'm not revealing it as its not for public eyes and I would put it here, since that ruling is even worse then Chiakiβs, Kyokoβs and Mikakoβs but now we are getting into the REALLY shitty rulings, where its not Masterminds bending the rules for their own means, and the reasoning becomes more banal.
#10 Ran Hama (Tetro Danganronpa Pink)
Previous Ranking: #5
Status: Unchanged, just more entries
Now we are getting into the REALLY BS rulings now, the ones where NONE of the culprits wanted to kill and no Mastermind was setting them up, its just horrid, horrid rulings for stupid reasons.
So Chapter 4, Watari, TAβs waifu (Sorry you asked me to do this so I WILL put it here!) decided she didnβt want to live on this planet anymore and wanted to unalive herself. Sucks but suicides and Chapter 4 go hand in hand, problem is, she wanted to save someone. And she choose Hama since while Watari has a AWFUL homelife that is similar to DTFA Akane, Hama has a loving mother and adorable younger sister who he misses dearly and so Watari wants to unite them again. Thus she arranged it so as soon as Hama opened the door, the trademark of Tetro; Door Traps, kicked in and killed Watari. Bear in mind not only did he NOT know until the Class Trial he killed Watari, but he wouldnβt have wanted this as yes he wanted to get out, but not at the expense at everyone else.
Its extremely horrible circumstances and I donβt blame people for blasting Watari for doing this, since yes she had good intentions but this was not the way to do it. And you know something is bad when Bubbles doesnβt even want to see the execution.
He still hasnβt btw and he never will.
#9 Eloise Taulner (Project Eden's Garden)
Here you go, the first new entry of this list and not me copy pasting what I said last year! Now due to PEG's lore document not being out as the writers would rather prefer to reveal details about Yaoi shipping then actually give us the deets, the details of Chapter 5 of PEG get murky but I will do my best to summarise, perhaps once the lore document comes out it would make sense.
Throughout PEG, Desmond becomes more bitter and cynical due to despite his best efforts trying to stop people from killing, people keep killing each other and so he decides he's had enough and decides to pull a Haruhiko when he more or less kills himself but in a way that Eloise would be involved in it, since she's the only person Desmond trusts, due to knowing each other outside of the Killing Game.
However because Tozu goes through a bit of a character arc throughout the Killing Game, he actually gives the remaining students a choice; if none of them decide to vote for Eloise, her life will be spared and she can carry on living with everyone else, but if at least ONE person votes for her, she gets executed. Diana does a big speech about how Eloise should be spared and everyone agrees with her...yet when voting comes someone voted for Eloise and thus was executed.
Okay but why is Eloise so high, especially given that the leaks we know have said that Eloise consented to what Desmond was planning? Well its all to do with WHO cast that one singular vote...and it was the Mastermind, Cassidy Amber. Cassidy's motive is she hates the Ultimate system and views them as greedy selfish human beings, and so the Killing Game's purpose is to show how rotten Ultimates are...yet when Ultimates are given a choice to spare someone and they take it, she overrules that decision to have Eloise killed. THIS is why its much higher then you think because it shows that Cassidy is a hypocrite, despite saying that Ultimates are greedy, selfish and unempathetic, when the chips are down, she's shown to be no better then the so called Ultimates she claims to hate. Intent goes a long way in these rankings.
//Of course this being said, I do concur that this ranking is subject to change considering when the lore document comes out, but unfortunately the writers keep spamming Yaoi nonsense and I don't like how romance-pilled PEG was shaping up to be. As it stands, this is where Eloise is positioned.
#8 Aries Huara (Danganronpa: Desperate Hearts)
Another newcomer and this is the first of MANY Desperate Hearts additions. Yeahhh kinda spoiler but the first Desperate Hearts did a LOT of BS rulings so most of the new entries comes from that Fangan.
In Chapter 4 Zoei Meito, who is the best friend of Aries and Dio, has had her confidence and self-esteem hit rock bottom. She's been on a downwards spiral ever since the first Culprit reveal and its here its become too much for her so after a failed attempt to kill Towa, Zoei decides she's committing suicide and hangs herself. And indeed when the Class Trial occurs, everyone thinks that Zoei killed herself and so they vote that...but the vote was WRONG!
That's right, Desperate Hearts is the first Fangan since SDRA2 to give out a wrong verdict, but when Monocam calls upon the true culprit, they don't step forward as even the culprit didn't know who they were, which allowed the trial to carry on. And then the truth is revealed, when Dio and Aries came across Zoei, the room was locked and thus similar to what happened to Sakura in Trigger Happy Havoc, the two boys got something to break the glass and get the door open so they can go inside. However, they threw rocks in and the rock Aries threw before going down the Ruruka hole, ended up hitting Zoei on the head and since Zoei didn't hang herself correctly so she was suffocating and not having her neck snap, the impact of the rock hitting her ended up taking her life and thus Aries was deemed the culprit as a result.
I don't think I need to tell you why this is BS because Aries had no intention of killing his best friend and was in fact trying to SAVE her but due to a terrible accident, he was deemed the culprit as a result since once again, whoever deals the fatal blow is who the culprit is. This is the first of a long stretch of "people who accidentality kill someone and thus are the culprit" Aries is lower ranked because unfortunately, while it was unintended, Danganronpa games have always maintained whoever deals the killing blow is the killer, no matter what happens here. While Zoei intended to kill herself, because of Aries throwing randomly to break the door down and it unintentionally hit her, he was the killer.
On the plus side, at least Dio and Arie's confession rejection went a MILLION MILES better then the fuckery that happened with Jett and Mark in PEG
#7 Marin Mizuta (Danganronpa Rebirth)
Previous Ranking: #4
Status: Dropped by 3 entries
Even though Rebirth was cancelled since we have the Spark Notes on how the game would have panned out, both verisons, this ruling applies to the English Version.
So as a recap Seishi whoβs true nature was exposed the previous chapter, has pissed pretty much everyone off for being a government hitman trying to kill everyone just so Ayumu dies, and ESPECIALLY given that Ayumu was falling for Seishi before this reveal comes out, it comes off as extra cruel. So as a result a few characters decide βAlright this motherfucker needs to die.β
And thus in a manner similar to Sakura Ogami, Seishi is subjected to not one, not two, not three but FOUR DIFFERENT murder plots. First Kazuomi decided to do what Tamba tried to do to Hiroaki in Tetro Pink and shove him down the stairs, then Kasumi strangled him, then Narumi poisoned him and then FINALLY Mikoto chopped his head off. This ladies and gentlemen, is why you donβt make enemies in Killing Games.
So naturally the Class Trial became a question of which murder attempt was successful. Sooo who did manage to kill Seishi? The answer isβ¦NONE OF THEM! Thatβs right despite ALL of these attempts to kill this slimy bastard they were NOT the ones who killed Seishi in the end, so who did?
Welll between when Narumi gave him Tamba food and Mikoto made things final, Marin one of the few people who didnβt completely hate Seishiβs guts after his true colours were exposed, saw him choking on the poison and tried to give him CPR to helpβ¦but she fucked up and accidentality killed him via doing CPR wrongβ¦thatβs right, all because Marin failed First Aid Class, she was declared the blackened and killed, and NOT none of the four would be murderers who were gagging to be the one to take credit.
That is just noβ¦sorry justβ¦no, when just because your means of help backfired and you die because of that its not okay. Made worse by how sweet and kind Marin is, is it any wonder why she became Bubbleβs waifu and got such a good role in ASOOT?
#6 Hibiki Otonokoji (Super Danganronpa Another 2)
Previous Entry: #3
Status: Dropped by 3 entries
You know we are dealing with some supreme bullshit when Hibiki Otonokoji, the original poster child for BS culprit rulings is now in 6th place, and yes I can't give her a higher slot because the other entries are just that much worse. Be afraid, be very afraid indeed.
Even though SDRA2βs Chapter 3 is a Double Blackened case, its technically still got two victims as Hibiki is as much of a victim as Setsuka was. Not only did she have Kanade as a twin sister, which is basically a fate worse then death, but she was grooming her to be a puppet that only listens to her and was murdering everyone Hibiki loves for that purpose.
And when it came to kill Setsuka, Kanade triggered Hibikiβs puppet state and under mind control, she killed Setsuka, even though thatβs something she didnβt want to do. Even though she was not herself during the murder, since Hibiki and Kanade synchronised the killing blow, Monocrow ruled the double blackeneds and thus Hibiki was killed alongside her sister.
This is so unfair, especially since LINUJ confirmed had Hibiki outlived Kanade, she WOULD have gotten character development and become a better person, but as we all know, LINUJ hates character development and apperantely being a bully means you deserve to be mind controlled and killed so Hibiki had to go.
This ruling is so unfair that literally every single askblog has decided to make it so Kanade loses, Hibiki gets away from her and improves. You know its a unfair ruling when it caused THAT much of a paragon shift within the askblog community.
For Hibiki to be THIS low down now, really makes you wonder what unholy stuff has occurred in the Fangans I've seen for her to drop down so much. Well you shall find out.
#5 Cho Hyun-Sook (Danganronpa: Desperate Hearts)
Another Desperate Hearts entry and this one is some really nasty BS. Cho is the Ultimate Puppeteer who seems to go by the Stage name of Fizzy, and when playing as Fizzy she seems very ditzy and lovable. However she becomes the culpirt of Chapter 2 when due to hallucinogenic drugs she was able to trick the victim of the chapter, Dasonoku into allowing her to suffocate him with her puppet arm. Seems pretty clear cut drug as a culprit...well that is until the twist is revealed that Cho...was possessed this entire time.
Fizzy as it turns out, is a demonic entity within the puppet that as soon as Cho put them on, took over her body and rendered her as a non person. We ONLY find out about Cho's identity in Chapter 2 because the same hallucinogenic drugs that made people trip and see dead people and monsters, also broke Fizzy's control over their meat shield and she was able to be herself. And Fizzy hating this, decides to kill Dasonoku so they don't lose control and while the demon gets banished by Cho literally chopping her own arm off, in a similar manner to Hibiki, because Cho's body was used to do the crime, she was deemed the killer.
I consider this worse then Hibiki's since at least Hibiki had some manner of autonomy over herself in SDRA2 and we got to know what she was like before Kanade decided to Puppet State her, but here no such luck, we never find out what kind of person Cho was since all we knew was Fizzy and given how Fizzy is a demon, we don't even though if THAT was the demon's true self or just a persona it put on.
And oh man the Transplant design is SO MUCH worse as it seems Cho is unable to even eat, sleep or do anything without Fizzy's input. Granted I haven't watched Transplant yet but the new Fizzy design unnerves me to no end. Cho had literally no life due to Fizzy and when Fizzy decided to kill someone due to losing control, its Cho who paid the price and who knows if Cho's soul isn't dragged to hell by Fizzy or whoever Fizzy truly is in the end?
Imagine being possessed, killing someone and then you get punished for it as soon as you are free. That's Cho's situation.
#4 Keizou Harada (Tetro Danganronpa Pink)
Previous Ranking: #2
Status: Dropped by 2 places
Okay Harada is now FOURTH?! We all knew how BS that verdict was and how much TA crashed out over it on Bubbles's Stream so for it to be declared 4th place now must make you really wonder what the hell even happened to the other 2 new entries to push it down so much. A lot. A lot is all I can say.
Harada and Hibiki are pretty much neck for neck in terms of how unfair their rulings were, but the reason I put Harada over Hibiki was that even though she wasnβt herself, Hibiki still TECHNICALLY killed someone. She did slam that knife into Setsukaβs body, sure Kanade was controlling her body, but her body still did those actions. So by all intent and purposes, she was still the Blackened as she did the crime.
Harada thoughβ¦he never even TOUCHED Chiba. The only reason he was considered the killer is because Sawa, the tiger cub Harada was looking after, went berserk due to the motive and attacked and killed Chiba. A wild animal did what a wild animal normally does, but because Sawa is owned by Harada, according to the Masterminds, any actions that Sawa does, reflects onto Harada so because Sawa killed Chiba, Harada is considered the culprit.
You know a ruling is BS when even the characters in-universe declare to it be unfair and if I recall almost everyone considered this a unfair ruling, with only Okazaki being not of the case and given what she is likeβ¦wellβ¦
The fallout out from this reveal was SO bad its the solo reason why Sawa is on the Voidship as trust me, the morale was non-existent and I had to do SOMETHING about it. Plus Sawa didnβt come onto the Voidship for free since she brought Void Juice with her and we all know how THAT went.
Harada didnβt kill Chiba, he never did, its just he had a wild animal, and wild animals do what wild animals do, especially with tigers, since it was only gonna go one way. Plus thanks to his slow reaction speed, he couldnβt stop Sawa from climbing the rope and wellβ¦doing the crime.
For many, Harada's verdict was the most unfair, but not only did I find one worse beforehand, I now found two more that beat out Harada in terms of BS. So what are these two unholy abominations? Well you shall see what my new top 3 are...
#3 Fencer Guy (The Mistake)
Previous Ranking: #1
Status: Dropped by 2 places
I'm sure that's what a lot of you are thinking. How can The Mistake, a entry I consider the WORST FANGAN in existence and one who I boasted would NEVER lose their gold...end up losing their gold? That's because I did the impossible and found 2 new entries which somehow manage to top this level of bullshit. So as a result Fencer Guy is taking Bronze.
So how did this occur. Well Barrister Lady, the victim of this Chapter, was not coping well with the Killing Game, which given her history of depression makes it so much worse. And then Toxic Rival Guy, who I DESPISE, more or less βencouragedβ her to commit murder and so she decides to poison a coffee mug and have someone drink it in the breakfast routine she does.
Sounds basic enough, but hereβs where things go wrong, Barrister Lady has horrible short term memory, so she forgot which cup she poisoned, so when she was getting a drink of her own, she asked Fencer Guy which drink she should have, and Fencer Guy, pointed to the poisoned Coffee Cup even though he had ZERO idea it was poisoned. She drank it and died from the poison. Normally this would be a suicide by all intends and purposes but because Fencer Guy POINTED at a POISONED COFFEE MUG HE HAD NO IDEA WAS POISONED, he was declared the blackened.
For the longest time, II thought nothing, absolutely nothing would top this in terms of BS but I was proven dead wrong as two new entries managed to go and do that. So what can be worse then pointing at a poisoned coffee mug that the culprit didn't even know was poisoned? Do you want to find out? Well if you are reading this you do so strap in...
#2 Azusa Maekawa (Tetro Danganronpa Blue)
Our first and only Tetro Blue entry here. Despite how Pink had a fair few BS entries, Blue by contrast had much fairer verdicts, while the culpirt motives, especailly going into Cursed Chapters, are stupid at least the rulings are fair. However as you tell from the title, Maekawa's ruling was not so what happened here and how come she managed to outrank the fucking Mistake?
Maekawa's best friend Shishikura was going in a downward spiral since Chapter 3 when he broke from the hospital setting and killed Kumada. The only reason he wasn't executed then was because he killed after Ikeda did and we are playing with V3 rules with double blackeneds. Okay well that's interesting let's see if this does anything interesting with how people would live with a known murderer. Annndd they all forgive him, while Ruka despite only attempting murder is racked over the coals for it. Shishikura then tries to kill AGAIN in Chapter 4 this time almost killing Tei which once again gets a forgiveness ticket.
This all comes to ahead in Chapter 5 when Shishikura who has lost faith in his religion which shows how little Von cares about research since Shintoism is polythesis and if anything Monomoko would be considered a Kamii, got converted into Tei's stupid cult and was convinced to take his own life which he did via drinking a poisoned drink. So...if it was suicide, why does Maekawa get deemed the culprit? Well Shishikura asked Maekawa to give him the poisoned drink despite knowing it was poisoned and that was enough for her to be deemed the culprit.
If this sounds like deju vu then it should as its very similar to what Fencer Guy did in the Mistake. So why is Maekawa's entry higher then Fencer Guy if its the same thing. Its because the tone was different.
Fencer Guy's verdict was in Chapter 1, which serves as a nice introduction to the kinds of verdicts you can expect from The Mistake and the start of its terrible, nonsensical and edgy Writing. Maekawa's verdict though was in Chapter 5, and is basically the dying gasps of what started out as a promising and good fangan, or at least we deluded ourselves into thinking that, only for the quality to fall off higher then jumping into the Grand Canyon and this final horrible verdict is the final nail that no the writing will not get better and it being cancelled was a mercy.
I was never emotionally invested in The Mistake, never cared about its characters and eventually had enough. Tetro I did give a damn about these characters (why else are they being given a second chance on the Voidship?) so seeing how terrible the writing went hurt so much more. Plus with the former being a Chapter 1 verdict and the latter being a Chapter 5, Maekawa gets the higher ranking for that reason despite her and Fencer Guy being done in for the same reason. Its also made worse that Barrister Lady actually forgot which coffee mug she poisoned whilst Shishikura told Maekawa to give him the drink despite fully knowing he poisoned the drink.
In-Universe Monomoko tried to argue for this to not count but since the Tetro Scientists are demons in human skin, this got overturned because they can't resist killing teenagers. When even the universe acknowledges its unfair, this says everything.
Yet despite that bullshittery, Maekawa only takes Silver. So who takes Gold in all of this? Oh boy...
#1 Gaia Amami (Danganronpa: Desperate Hearts)
Here's your new queen of BS rulings everyone. Not only does the three new Desperate Hearts entries here score very high but one manages to take the crown. So what happens to Gaia for her to take Gold?
Well Chapter 3, as you guess was a double kill as Erena killed Gallor and Mari. She pulled a Satsuki and confessed to the crimes at the start but nobody believed her because Erena was a shitstirrer and thought this was a Kokichi situation. As the case went on, despite a depressed Zoei trying to confess to the crime, it was revealed that yes Erena was indeed the killer. Okay but the entry says Gaia Amami, not her demonic twin sister and no Gaia was not roped into Erena's murder scheme, she was doing something with Towa when this was occurring so what happens for me to give Gaia the Number 1 spot?
Desperate Hearts has a stamp system where characters could do tasks and if they complete all the tasks, they get a Killing Game perk. Towa tries to finish the tasks but she was unable to do as Erena ended up filling out her stamp collection first and gets the Killing Game Perk. And what is the Killing Game Perk Erena gets? Oh nothing much, just the fact if she kills someone she can escape from the Killing Game even if caught and someone else she chooses can be executed in her place.
I don't need to tell you why this is supreme bullshit because this isn't like the First Blood Perk in V3 where if someone confesses to the crime they can escape scott free, here if that happens someone innocent and had absolutely nothing to do with the crime gets executed instead. And as you can guess Erena chooses Gaia, her own twin sister to be the sacrificial lamb instead. Gaia tries to fight back, and even manages to drop some crucial mastermind lore details since she and her sister, as well as Dasonoku were working with the Mastermind ala Void style.
The fact a culprit can just kill someone and get away Scott-Free and someone innocent takes their place is bullshit so extreme, it makes me glad nobody took the First Blood Perk in V3. This is just blatant violation of one of the core Danganronpa rules and worst of all, Erena is a EXTREMELY insufferable character, so her getting to laugh off her death and have someone else die pissed me off so much. No wonder Rantaro lost her and her sister given the behaviour Erena exhibited.
I would say nothing would beat Gaia's ruling but I've know better then to say that now so all I do is hope it doesn't occur but I wouldn't bet on it. This list will expand in the future, the question is in which direction.
//And that is the 2026 edition of the BS culprits ruling! I will probably do this annually or whenever I consume enough Fangans I gain new entries. Some of the results might shock you and I expect one will change with new information but until next time I feel this list needs to change I shall bid you farewell.
