The Blade of the Guardians He doesn't have a lot of screen time in this one, but it's still a very meaningful project. He worked with legendary action director Yuen Woo-ping and even had an interview with him afterward. Winwin trained and camped for around 3–4 months, learning a wide range of martial arts skills for the role.

Dramas

Snowfall This was actually the first drama he filmed. He worked with director Li Muge, who mentioned that Winwin was so talented that he completed his very first on-screen scenes without needing multiple takes. It's also quite unusual for a new actor to begin their career with a Republican-era drama, so his acting journey started in a really interesting way.

Sweet Games Although it was the second drama he filmed, it was the first one to be released. Since his character is a voice actor, he studied voice acting and watched a lot of Japanese voice actors to prepare for the role. The drama also includes many references to classic films, which makes it a fun watch.

Perfect Match This is the drama that really changed Winwin's career. His character, Yang Xian, became one of the most popular supporting characters of 2025. His performance received a lot of praise from both critics and the general public. I think this was the role that truly proved what he could do as an actor.

A Splendid Match This was his first project after the success of Yang Xian. It went incredibly viral on Chinese social media, and once again his acting received a lot of praise. He ended up being the most popular character in the drama. Based on his latest interviews, it also seems that Ye Xian is his favorite character that he's played so far.

He has also finished filming Sunshine Through the Rain, where he's the male lead, and he's currently filming Qia Feng Chun, his first historical costume drama as the male lead. The Boundless Bright Moon also filmed years ago but we are waiting for the release date.

Personally, I think his acting is genuinely good, but what I enjoy even more is seeing how much he improves with every project. You can really tell that he takes acting seriously and puts a lot of effort into preparing for each role. I definitely think his acting career is worth following.
