i heard ducks require a lot more attention and supervision than chickens, is that true?
Neither of us have ever had ducks, but I've asked around and the consensus seems to be they aren't much more difficult than chickens.The only difference is they are a bit more messy and of course need a body of water, which depending on what it is, requires upkeep. A pool is much more upkeep than a pond or a lake, for example. Please provide input if you have ducks!
