Sketching my way through FFXIV; ARR
When I can't gpose at work but need an outlet, I draw. These aren't meant to be refined works, simply practice at composition, posing, and simplifying the complex designs of ffxiv. The ink forces me to keep things simple, lest I rework a part so much I saturate the paper in ink.
The party thus far consists of Fy'ra, the main Warrior of Light; Ilbey'rid, her cousin and timid defender; Breaker-Surge, the sailor and renegade whose loyalty and kindness abounds; and Myr'handa, who's claimed by three tribes yet belongs to none, and sporting her own natural forehead jewelry. Together the crew slipped past the Garleans by sea on their way from Othard to Eorzea.
I will someday recreate all of this on a grander scale in Gpose, and already have with one. The tedious part will be creating and saving their multiple outfits, prep I don't need to draw them.
I have partially planned out their post-ARR divisions but Breaker-Surge and Myr'handa pair up while Ilbey'rid leaves Fy'ra and ends up tanking in the Ninja questline alongside Princess Yuki, replacing Akagi. Fy'ra doea the Bahamut raids. B.S. and Myr' are probably stuck with the Crystal Tower raids, and share lots of stories with G'raha about the Warrior of Light. The rest is a fat load of question marks.
All that to say, I love these dorks, and I'm excited to do more with them.
