I have not had a lot of sewing time lately. Since returning home I had a big machine embroidery project to finish. I finally got that all finished and realized I had an October birthday gift to make. My friend is crazy about Halloween so I decided to make her a little Jack-O-Lantern drawstring bag. It turned out SO cute!!
I found the cute ribbon on ETSY. I used one of my favorite bat fabrics for the lining.
I filled it with some sewing goodies and shipped it off!! Such an easy pattern but so cute when finished!

Iโm pretty proud of this one, a collection of some of the loveliest colors I have. I gave the drawstring ends puff flowers. They remind me of blue eyed daisies. It is fully lined for stability and structure and the straps are removable (as usual). I widened the strap for comfort and strength too. The top looks like a flower when the drawstrings are pulled, I really like the effect.
