Help! Help! I just saw the most ADORABLE critter, but I just can’t remember it’s name! Hmm... I think it could turn every colour of the rainbow, and could have lots of shapes or none at all!
Huh? What do you mean that’s ‘not very clear’, kiddo? Well, maybe you can draw the critter I saw! I bet you’d do a great job! Try filling out this creature report for easy cataloguing.

Okay! I am inviting all my followers (and anyone who sees this post) to participate in a drawing activity! The activity is:
Draw Pochi with your non-dominant hand!
To be clear, if you’re right-handed, draw with your left! If you’re left-handed, draw with your right! If you’re fairly ambidextrous, draw with whatever hand you use the least for drawing! Digital or on paper, anything’s good!
(I’m going to be honest, Pochi might be tough to draw even with your usual hand, but this is for fun! And stretching our skills! Also, you don’t have to try it if you don’t want to.)
Here is a picture of Pochi if anyone wants a fast reference:
And here is a link to a drawing the mangaka did of Pochi that... looks to fit the theme?
Anyway, please reblog with your Pochi addition attached if you decide to join in! Let’s draw some wonky Pochis!
Mine is under the cut:
First is the pencil outline of the process:
...And then I redrew the entire body and tried to outline in pen:
(The writing there was also done with my non-dominant hand. All shading and erasing as well... This turned out better than expected, but I like the pencil part more than the pen.)
(With more practice, I would likely be totally ambidextrous. I always mean to practice my off-handed writing and drawing and then forget, which is why I did this in the first place. I don’t know if it’s a skill anyone else particularly wants to work on, but I figured maybe it could be fun?)
(This was the third Pochi I’ve ever drawn in entirety, and that is counting drawing with my dominant hand. I should draw more Pochi, huh?)
Other than the funky blog Pochi, the reason behind choosing Pochi for this was because I feel like Pochi will forgive me even if they turn out terrible as a result of practicing an underdeveloped skill. It’s okay to be bad at something, especially something you rarely do, so if you join in on this, don’t feel bad about any weird-looking Pochi attempts! It’s all okay!
Hi Babies!! 💖✨ Today's activity is to draw a picture of yourself!! You can put a picture of yourself in the activity if you want, draw your self portrait on paper or on the computer! Mama Berry has made two edits because she knows there are people who prefer to draw on paper and there are people who like to do the drawing in the activity itself, so choose what fits you best c; I look forward to seeing all your beautiful drawings and pictures! 🌈🌟💕

Jess Smart Smiley first introduced me and my husband to comics crosswords, and it’s a frequent game we enjoy (especially in church when we need a bit of help staying awake). It goes like this: one person draws the crossword shape, and the other person comes up with the themes that must be in each comic. Then, you take turns completing the across and down comics. It’s challenging and fun!

Drawing is the best substitute for painting. It will allow seniors to express their creativity. And can make their cognitive function stronger. It has fewer materials that are needed and easy to set up.
The Pochi drawing activity is still ongoing! For at least the first ten Pochis, I will draw another off-hand Pochi in response! I decided to commit to this because I could always use more practice. Also, I’d love to see more Pochis!
(Anyone seeing this should feel free to join in if it sounds interesting, artist or not!)
