Reina comes into the picture and shakes up the entire dynamic. She’s not afraid to say what she thinks or feels, and she’s confident in who she is and what she wants. She’s also no stranger to casual hookups or one night stands, but she is also very committed when the person feels right for her (Bobby was a lapse in judgement, not making that mistake twice).

I think this route would go very differently from her route with Adam. Reina thinks all of Unit Bravo are ridiculously attractive, and while she has the most emotional reaction towards Adam, if one of the others approached her (IN BOOK 1), she’d probably have the “fuck it, why not?” attitude.

So, in this case, I think most of her “big” romance moments in B1 would still be with Adam (patrol, murphy parking lot fight, dying on the ground scene lol etc etc) EXCEPT the door knock scene, that would be with Nate and is what sparks their interest in each other in a much less professional/friendly capacity.

Nate and Reina at some point have a conversation about Adam, probably because Nate picked up on her attraction to him building. Something something super emotional conversation leads the two of them hooking up to cope with what they both think is a doomed love (drama queens 🙄).

Eventually Adam would find out about it, probably from Morgan making a joke to Farah about asking if they want a third.

Needless to say, there would be some crash outs.

That’s really as far as I’ve gotten with it! But I def need to do a Reina/Nate route to feel out their general vibe. I do think I wanna write this, though 🤭
