hydrothermal venting

i'm still working on explaining this the best I can, but I have a theory that environmental destruction under capitalism is a relatively common fetish--not as in I think actual environmental destruction is caused by it, but I think in media, there are people who are attracted to the power dynamic involved, combination of patriarchy and capitalism (see: phenomenon of "petromasculinity").

like. ok. i was driving through a pretty calm area right. this stretch is 45mph. this car, from the left lane, started driving diagonally through the right lane. i'm like Oh shit they're gonna hit the curb. they then go over the curb into a shallow ditch, pick up speed by about 15mph, do a complete u-turn around a street lamp, and go airborne while heading back over the curb onto the street and directly into the median.

what else have i been up to in my absense um well i have an awesome girlfriend now
