Summerhall was a beautiful place and Daella had always felt fortunate to grow up there. Still, whenever there was a chance to visit the Keep or Dragonstone, the girl would be so joyous. Some might argue that it was for the different way of royal life that she got to experience but the truth was that she was simply so excited to see her family. Upon their arrival at Dragonstone, Lady Jena was already waiting for them in greeting. The smile on her face could not have been bigger at the sight of her aunt. Knowing well that his father would be upset about her behavior, Daella ran towards her, not exactly princess-like.

𝐃𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀.

❀ — After  her  mother's  death,  and  when  Maekar  was  even  more  distant  than  before,  Daella  tried  everything  to  please  her  father.  She  tried  to  do  things  she  knew  he  enjoyed  to  spend  time  with  him.  She  figured  that  if  she  did  all  that,  Maekar  might  be  more  inclined  to  spend  time  with  her.  Half  the  time  it  seemed  to  work.  For  a  while,  she  seemed  to  have  forgotten  what  she  actually  enjoyed  doing  because  she  was  so  focused  on  pleasing  others.  Her  favorite  thing  to  do,  however,  is  riding.  She  loves  riding  her  horse  as  fast  as  she  can,  enjoying  the  wind  in  her  hair.  She  loves  to  feel  so  free.  At  the  same  time  she  enjoys  leisurely  rides,  enjoying  the  nature  around  her.  It  is  when  she  feels  most  herself.  If  you  ask  her,  she  will  also  claim  that  she  is  a  far  better  rider  than  any  of  her  siblings.

" Mother! " Maegelle ran through the halls of Dragonstone, searching for her beloved mother. Father had said she would likely be in the library at this time. It did not take her awfully long to find her, and when she did, her smile could not have been brighter. Maegelle stopped right before her, dropping to her knees right where her mother was seated. Perhaps it was not the most graceful thing for a princess to do but she cared little about that. Her excitement was too great.

She reached for her hand, giving it a light squeeze. "Father said that we are to go to Summerhall in a few days. Is it true? We are going? It had been quite a while since she had last seen her uncle and aunt as well as her cousins. It was always a delight and truthfully, Maegelle loved to visit different places.
