What I love most about developing the relationship between Araduna and Vilkas is that--well for one itβs a Grumpy x Grumpy which is a trope that has my whole heart--they connect in such a heartfelt way. Well, I like to think they do lol I like to think Iβm showcasing it that way :PΒ
To put it short, Araduna experiences something traumatic involving her brother and Vilkas is the one there to comfort her, in a way that no one else could (details later πππΌ).Β
Meanwhile, Vilkas deals a lot with the burden of Beast blood and the increasing nightmares and anxiety/depression that brings. I imagine he is always feeling drained and heavy. Araduna is able to understand this and is able to give him a place to hide, just as he does for her.Β
