Design notes:

Based her off Leopard seals cause ofc I had to.

Got her animus from her mother, who's a very very distant relative to the royalty of Icewings (great great grand niece or similar). Icewing royalty were the first to develop Animus powers, and through strictly regulated marriage/reproduction, they try to keep it that way.

For all who don't know: In WoF, in Hybrids, the mothers genes will always be dominant.

Seals Animus is touch based: she can't enchant an object without touching it.

Since her wings resemble the owl-like segments of other Icewings, and she lacks a tailfin, she tends to swim or stick to straight flying; she's bad at tight turns & a bit to heavy to fly high.

Like all Icewings, her claws are four-parted for better grip on the ice, which makes every strike of hers four times as painful, since one scratch feels like four.

Technically related to Firn (Killer); followed him to Nightshades group after learning she was related to the missing royal. Functions as an informant/healer + deals special items (e.g.: Dragon viper venom, Dragonflame & Brightflame cactus) to Nightshade in exchange for future safety.

(Wants to return home and not have to hide her Animus powers, since touchbased Animi often end up unstable, and in turn are easily discovered. Since she's not wholely royal (+ broke the Icewings law of only one Animus spell in her whole life) she'd be persecuted.)

The dark spots are where her feathers used to grow during polar nights; after meeting Firn (who's first degree royalty), she started gradually plucking those feathers regularly to appear more like her royal side. (Firn hides that side, she tries to emphazise it.)
