Welp... I have had my seasonal identity crisis for a while now, but haven't really had the time to explore- or feel what felt right because of my school project (which is finished now, but will not be able to show for a while cause I might apply for some festivals with it). So, now that the project is over... I finally got to share my newest sona design, which is a slime person/alien (haven't decided exact species).
Will this be final? Probably not as I have swapped sona 3 times within 11 months... But I think I'm getting closer! My school project have helped me a lot to find a style I enjoy and that is simple to animate, yet can be very detailed. And I want my sona to be simple but expressive. A slime creature is perfect for that!
Here's some exploration I did while creating this design and some poses with the final design! I were very bug inspired at the start, but then remembered that there was a time, very long ago, where I were close to rebrand to be a slime person and then that idea took over! lol ^w^
