They do and they don’t celebrate Christmas, it’s a bit tricky ^_^ For one, they don’t get the day off, but there are decorations all over, and the shopping malls and such take FULL advantage of the holiday to do specials and stuff. Kids maybe get one or 2 presents? Nothing big. The kids know who Santa is, but I’m not sure how far they’ve been traumatized with him ^_- 

There’s also the Christmas cake tradition, where you go buy a cake and they’re fancy and expensive (this year we’re doing an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins ^_^ ). It’s more of a day for couples than family though, people will spend it with their significant other, buy them a really fancy gift, or take them out ^_^ That might have changed a bit recently, xmas has sorta drifted around recently. OH and who can forget the fried chicken! KFC got in on the xmas thing at some point, and now some how fried chicken is the food you have at xmas. KFC is sold out of xmas specials usually well in advance ^_^

Oh and the xmas music in shopping centers is hilarious b/c it’s not just the usual xmas music, it’s like full on church hymns and stuff, which always makes me chuckle a little b/c that would sooo not fly in the US ^_^ But other than a fun day, there’s not much to it. Especially since it’s followed so closely by New Years which is MASSIVE ^_^

1. What’s your favourite genre of film?

Oh gosh, I’m not actually a fan of films ^_^;;; But I do like clever and funny films. Hot Fuzz is my favorite if that’s any sorta example eheh.

2. If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?

Oh gosh... probably *cough* myInquisitorwouldn’tbesobadtobe >__> I want to be as strong and brave as her T_T But if we’re not going for people I helped build, then probably Makoto/Sailor Jupiter ^_^;; (again, strong, brave, AND good at cooking eheh)

3. What is your favourite holiday?

Ooooh, not sure >_< Bad things tend to happen around holidays, but I am a fan of the winter holidays. mostly b/c I love getting and giving presents (my bday is then too)

4. Marmite (vegemite) - love or hate? (or equivalent in your country!)

I dunno, I’ve never had either ^_^;;

5. What season do you dislike the most?

Winter. I haaaaatteeee the cold >_<

6. How to you take your tea/coffee/hot beverage?

Tea, sweetened ^_^ Used to like milk, but can’t do that anymore T_T

7. What’s your perfect date?

I’m not too picky, if it’s fun and surprising and special enough, and with my boy, then I’m good ^_^

Oh shoot, it’d be a close one between being an expert at arts and comics oooooor the ability to speak Japanese perfectly ^_^;;
