Anjyu mocks the premise, characters, special effects, or all of the above every other minute (completely killing whatever fear factor the film is trying to build).
Kumoko tries in vain to shush him, but every time Ryo chimes in too (heād like to hear the movie too, thanks) she switches sides. Well, I mean, if I didnāt know he was possessed Iād think it was a bloody nose too. Maybe Anjyuās little tsundere friend secretly isnāt into horror films.
Mikan has horded all the snacks to herself and refuses to relinquish any without bribery⦠Until Ryo threatens to turn the television off, then suddenly sheās miss hostess.Ā
Togo is the only quiet one, staring transfixed at the screen. But Ryo recognizes that look. Itās the same one he had two months ago right before he disassembled a watch the other two got him during the holidays. Carefully Ryo scooches here and there until theyāre all so tangled together that any hope of Togo freeing himself is even less likely than the movie protagonist making it out of this story alive. He is not letting the television go to pieces without a fight.
