is there anything to ethubs rpf where bdubs finds out that etho actually met with a different hermit/mindcracker years ago and etho acts like it wasn't a big deal (it was but it happened kind of in a whirlwind and half accident and all etho remembers is the awkwardness of leaving after they suggested going for a drink after this random convention) but bdubs is so betrayed not by ethos refusal to meet HIM but that he didn't know and they have a mutual friend-turned-acquaintance out in the world who knows how etho sits and fidgets and looks when he laughs. important to me for no real reason that whoever the third person is can't be beef or pause or gem because it can't be rationalised to bdubs in any case that they would've just been in the same country and area or whatever. it needs to be like, guude. bdubs is on neutral/ maybe even good terms with guude but there's no terms good enough to randomly message someone like "hey remember our mutual friend/colleague from years and servers ago? do his eyes light up when he starts talking about something he's passionate about or does he look at the floor because it's all too much?"
