So everyone remembers when I did the sketch sheet for Vaega, right?(I like to think I’ve gotten better)

Meet Bonny Brixton, A little guy with a strong love for frills and all things cute. He’s a peppy cat with a strong accent and one of the quickest ways to his heart is with a piece of candy (and maybe a nice compliment).  He’s cheeky, a little childish, and sometimes shoves his nose where it doesn’t belong, but he means well. There’s seldom a time when there isn’t a smile on his face, and thus it sometimes seems like his tail is always curled and swaying in the air with approval. Along with his appreciation for sweets, and cute stuff, He is BEYOND enthusiastic about music and dance and the people who make those sorts of things their job.

When I first got to planning for Bonny, I pulled from a few different things, such as a really depressing graphic novel I read a while back (lol), and Queenie from the film, “Mythical Beasts and Where to Find Them”. (Don’t even try to tell me she wasn’t the fucking sweetest woman alive.) Also this song.

Regarding origins, I’m thinking some odd part of the star that has yet to be disclose to the WoL, such as Ivalice or some-such. (Bite me, I’ve seen all of you fools retconing for Storm Blood)

As for the feminine way he dresses, its simply a taste hes acquired over the years and it has little baring upon his integrity as a person; he’s still a young man with hopes and dreams and a healthy interest in love, he’s just more open to the idea of finding it in unlikely places.

You might make note that the common ‘tear drops’ on Miqo’te males are only visible on some sketches, and its quite deliberate- As someone who idolizes the feminine form and look, he’s come to see them as a very masculine trait to have, and thus makes use of cosmetics to cover his own.

That’s about all I have on him thus far, but you can BET you’ll be seeing more of him. Until then, here, have a fully rendered Bonny. *GUN FINGERS*

I’ve been struggling socially, but can’t post anything “personal” on this blog unless its personal art.

So I went ahead and drew my issue.

Now, this isn’t a rant to condone anyone’s actions (aside from my own) but more a friendly reminder to individuals like me who find themselves spitting out sexual innuendo like your life depends on it. Its imperative that you try and stick with your own crowd or at least very slowly (a few months) ease the more conservative ones into it. I know it might seem like common sense, but occasionally something you didn’t care to think about before saying cannon balls out of your mouth, and suddenly you feel entire worlds of regret. Let me share one particular instance where I made this exact mistake.

So, One day, I was out and about doing my own thing when I caught wind of a friend’s conversation. Me, being me, interjected with, you got it, something sexual.

So first, let me say that I’ll be using different names for the sake of privacy. I was addressing M&M and Macklemore in this instance. I had made some offhanded comment about touching Macklemore’s thighs before I remembered that I hardly know M&M....and know Macklemore even LESS.

A sizable and uncomfortable silence, followed by a comment by M&M helped me realize that I had just made Macklemore feel endangered...Which is such news to me because I’ve never had this type of effect on someone- it didn’t even occur to my thick headed self to say “HAH JUST KIDDING” because I’d normally assumed anyone I talked to would already assume such. Needless to say, that was a big no no; M&M did not approve.

At all.... 

AT ALL.

At this point, I had deemed myself unwelcome to any and all future conversations from M&M’s warning alone- and in the heat of the moment, up and just disappeared like I do so well.

However in doing so, I had left my best friend, Kanye West, In the line of fire.

It was then I realized....

I had not just made one, but three mistakes, all in quick succession. 

-First of all, assuming someone who is only an acquaintance is okay with your specific brand of self hating, lecherous, sadistic sense of debauched humor is downright stupid.

-Because I had left so abruptly, I had given M&M a reason to find and chastise my brother from another mother. 

-As a direct consequence of my thoughtless actions, I brought unnecessary negativity into Kanye West’s life, and made the issue bigger than it had to be.

Moral of the story?

Yes. An Idiot. And any decent people loving individual in this circumstance would probably agree.

And while I love pointing out how much of an unequivocal imbecile I am, it just comes down to the people.

 While I admire M&M and Macklemore, and wish them all the happiness in the world, I don’t see our friendship making a fantastic and iridescent come back, and I’m not really destroyed by that. 

What really matters here is Kanye West, My dear friend who laughs at even the most cruel and morally questionable of my jokes.

  The people who you know will have your back regardless of circumstance. I apologized to M&M, when really, I should have apologized to Kanye West. And so this is for you, my saucy friend.

“Sorry for not taking my head out of my ass and realizing that the only person’s approval who really matters is yours, my parent’s, and Meryl Streep’s.”
