#goth clothes

I want to really love my clothes and wear everything I own. I dress in a very casual goth/punk style with some pastel and J fashion influences. (I also apparently really want to document it because Tumblr keeps glitching so forth times a charm)

My Goals

Clean My Room

Know everything I own

Make outfits with them

Create an effective organization system

I took this photo mid cleaning so you can have an Idea of what I'm working with.

This isn't my first-time doing this do I already have an Idea of what works for me and what doesn't. I think my problem last time is that I was trying to correct my behavior instead or playing into my weaknesses (lol). I'm bipolar 2, work overnights, and just generally struggle with executive functioning for context.

I have 4 tubs but am currently only using three. 1 for out of season clothes (winter/fall), 1 for fabric, and 1 for cosplay. I have a rack for delicate items and everyday wear. I also have a trunk, a rolly bin, a hamper, and 2 foldable fabric bins.

My Habits

Not using my hamper

Throwing clean clothes on the floor

Stripping immediately when I get home

Not working on projects

The Current Plan

Use all 4 tubs. The last one can be used for projects

Put the hamper near my door

Use the rolly bin for frequently used clothes (work and pj's) These get cleaned the most because they're used the most I don't need to hang or fold them

Hang my everyday clothes

Use foldable bins for socks, underwear, towels, and tights

Trunk can be empty or used for other things I need storing

Sort all my clothes into keep, maybe, and donate. Then resort my maybes and find projects that need to be finished

Take photos of every piece of clothing and file them

Make essentially a character sheet of myself that I can use to mock up outfit ideas

It is June 7th 2026, I started sorting everything at 2 am Stopped at 3:30 am. Hopefully everything will be done by Friday.
