I actually love that they hid out at Dr. Lang's apartment. She's been seeing him as her therapist for almost six years. He knows all about Tali, Tony, the work she used to do (in broad strokes at least), her PTSD and anxiety, the fact that she was held and tortured for months, her father, her siblings, her worst fears about herself.
She knows that he knows about all of that, and she's confident that even though she's wanted by Interpol and dangerous people are chasing her, he'd never betray her and would be willing to help. She believes that she can trust him, this professional whose job it is to help her. She even believes he'll go above and beyond to help her. And I really, really love that for her.
