Fake relationship + Bed sharing
When Dean had agreed on being Casâ pretend husband for this case, he had not thought through the implications.
Pretending to be married was one thing. It wasnât exactly easy, what with Dean pathetically pining after his best friend for the better part of a decade now, but it was still just another cover story.Â
But being on a couplesâ resort (one being beset by what was obviously an angry spirit, although Dean and Cas had yet to figure out whose) didnât just mean pretending during the day, in front of the civilians.Â
It meant sharing a bedroom, sharing a single bed. It meant pretending at night, to Cas, that this didnât mean anything. That it wasnât anything more than a minor inconvenience.
Cas didnât seem to have an issue with it. Heâd fallen asleep in about five minutes flat, lying on his back firmly on his side of the bed, breathing softly in through his nose and out through his slack lips.Â
Seemed like Dean was the only one bothered.Â

hmmm since The List has been brought up id just like to let you know that i asked you a long while ago to explain how you set it up and use it and since then ive had my own version and it's been working very well for helping me keep my school work organized!! im about to start college and i think it'll really benefit that so thank you!!!!
thatâs awesome!! here is an update on how i have it organized these days - iâm using microsoft onenote, as per usual -
so you see now instead of one BIG document i have divided out all the sections, which makes it easier to navigate. all the other things are the same though. (i really gotta make some progress in the stitching category, huh? lol) anyway i hope it does help you! and if itâs ever not helping you, you know, change it! all our brains work differently, so find what works for you!Â

thanks dee!! ily!!
âHow much of that did you hear?â Dean demanded, eyes flitting between both Sam and Cas in panic. His brother quickly stood up and vacated the kitchen, taking his laptop with him while Cas nonchalantly began pouring his coffee into a mug. Heâd waltzed into the room unannounced, in the middle of a very important conversation.Â
âI have no idea what youâre talking about,â Cas feigned innocence, topping off his morning brew with enough sugar to fill a candy store.Â
âSo you heard nothing⌠you didnât hear Sammy and I talking?âÂ
âOh, you mean about an engagement ring? Yes, I heard all of that.â He was casual as he brought the pot over to fill Deanâs mug again.
âDammit Cas, you nosey son of a bitch! It was supposed to be a surprise!â Dean whined in exasperation.Â
âIâm a celestial being sweetheart. I hear everything in this bunker, all the time. Including that detailed recount of last nights activities that Sam very obviously did not want to hear about.â He quirked an eyebrow, sitting down across from him at the table. He put his mug in his right hand, reaching out his left to hold Deanâs hand, which was resting on the table.Â
âI appreciate the flattery, believe me, but Sam probably doesnât need or want to know all the details of what I do to you,â Cas continued, squeezing his hand.Â
âStop tryinâ to change the subject. Proposals are supposed to be a surprise.âÂ
âI donât think thatâs wise. Shouldnât people talk about marriage before deciding on it? Weâve talked about it.âÂ
âRight, but you arenât supposed to know when Iâm going to propose!â Dean argued back, sipping angrily at his coffee. His hand told a different story, fingers gently tracing over Casâ.
âWho says?â
âEveryone.â
âHuh. Does everyone say that youâre supposed to propose and not me?âÂ
âNo.â The cogs began to turn in Deanâs mind.
âGood. Itâs a hassle to take things back to the store anyways.âÂ
Dean spit his coffee and Cas just grinned before leaving his soon to be fiance speechless.
