I’ve been calling the DQ arcade game “Monster Battle Scanner” this whole time. Turns out... that’s the name of the old version. I’ve somehow never noticed until now that since it updated in late 2017, it was renamed “Dragon Quest Scan Battlers.” I guess I ought to stop tagging it as DQMBS. Despite being a Monsters game, it’s no longer in the title!

I’ve gotten a few palette swaps in DQMBS, but can’t complete a full party with them, so I’m left with teams like Orc/Orc/Ghost, Dragon/Dragon/Ghost, and Satan/Satan/Turtledragon.
My strongest team in Dragon Quest Monster Battle Scanner, and my joke weenie team. I got a higher score with the latter...
Dragon Quest Monster Battle Scanners updated with a new round of cards. This new set focuses heavily on DQ6 for its rares, but to my disappointment, Amos didn't get a card. Hopefully I can get Ashlynn. The Zenithian equipment is also available, though I've been happy using Pankraz's sword so far. As for monsters, the highlight for me is Pruslas. I'd like him to team up with my Barbatos. Meowgician, Cureslime, and that giant clown head from DQ9 are also on my wishlist.
