It was already past midnight when Rosaria arrived at the tavern. Good thing it was one of those days when they stayed open for longer. She dragged herself to the door, fully exhausted from the nights work. Pyro Abyss mages sure became more annoying the past few weeks.

Once she opened the door a sight she never would've guessed appeared before her eyes.

Barbara, the pop idol of Mondstadt, sat at the counter with at least two bottles beside her, empty or half empty, and her head on the wooden counter.

Quietly, Rosaria took a seat beside her fellow nun and poked her arm.

"I can't do this", she cryed, "I'm not perfect!" Another sob resounded.

"You don't have to be perfect Barbara", Rosaria signed the bartender to give her the usual and tried to make Barbara stand up a bit.

"But-but I have to be! I'm an idol! People want me to always have that darn happy smile and sing for them in the sweetest voice and I fear the day that I can't do that! I fear the day they realise I'm not worthy of their praise", tears were streaming down her reddened face. "I'm not even good as a healer", she whispered and began crying louder again, slumbing down on the counter and burrowing her face into her arms.

Rosaria didn't quite know what to do here. Kaeya was better at handling such situations but he wasn't here today because of a mission. "What happened?", looking at Barbaras trembling figure made Rosaria want to punch someone. Hard.

"You know how Traveller sometimes brings their friends along from travels? They brought someone from Inazuma, a beautiful girl who is the leader of the resistsance! Traveller looked so much better then when I treated them so I asked how that could be", Barbara was barely holding back even more tears.

"They told me that that girl was so good at healing they never really had to worry about getting injured" , new tears were flowing and Rosaria bit her lip. Honorary knight usually took some people on their journey who could help them so it was no wonder that they found someone who could be an extraordinary healer. "Healer...", a thought came up in Rosarias mind and it quickly became a plan to cheer Barbara up. The woman downed her drink down and took Barbara by the hand.

"How about you aren't a healer for today?", Rosaria smirked like she just shared the best secret with her fellow nun.

"Huh?"

They made their way out of the tavern, out of the city and towards the border to Liyue. There they climbed up a mountain on their left hand side.

"The view is beautiful", Barbara mentioned, her tears already dried up a bit from running, walking and climbing.

Rosaria looked around until she spotted what she was looking for.

"There!", she pointed towards a group of Hilichurls and a pyro Abyss Mage, "Go and let your frustation out!"

Barbara looked unsure towards Rosaria who only nodded towards the group. The idol clenched her fists and took on a fierce look. She walked towards the group, accelerating until she was running full sprint towards the first Hilichurls.

The group noticed and started to attack but Barbara was faster. Summoning water from a nearby pond she held it above herself. The Hilichurls looked up at the looming water. If they could've expressed something that normal humans could understand it would've been along the lines of:"Oh shi-"

Barbara swung her arm down making the water crash onto the Hilichurls with as much force as a Primo Geovishap weighed. The pyro Abyss Mage could only dream of keeping its shield up after that and even then it was almost dead.

"I'm the better dps", she whispered while forming a small dagger with the water and stabbed the Abyss Mage until it was dead and then some more.

While this all took place Rosaria knew now not to piss off Barbara from then on. She had won some respect.

"Thank you Rosaria", Barbara smiled a genuine smile. The woman only huffed and smiled a bit herself.

"Let's go home, we have choir practice tomorrow"

"You remembered? Don't skip it like last time"

"I won't,I promise"

As both of them were walking back to Mondstadt, the sun already beginning to rise, Barbara looked at Rosaria.

"You know, there is no one around. The few times you've sung at the choir I thought that your voice sounded so nice..."

Rosaria sighed,looked around and gave up when she saw Barbaras puppy dog eyes. "Ok,I'm going to sing for you just this once"

She cleared her throat and began.

"Nordwärts Nordwärts wolln ziehen,

zu den Bergen und den Seen,

wollen neues Land erleben

wollen auf Fahrten gehen~"
