“Uh… no. I didn’t know that,” Jen said, the thought processing clear on her face. Confused, eyes looking back and forth… and then… She smiled softly, “Thank you, Harvey…” 

it was finally valentine’s.  he’d sent a car to pick her up, she hadn’t been feeling well but he knew she wouldn’t want to miss the date of all dates, so he’d made sure to pull back the roses and have them refrigerated until she was feeling better and wouldn’t be sending her to the restroom of all places due to inconsideration on his part.  

alfred had been forced to have the night off — and with a little matchmaking — was on a date with leslie on tonight of all nights.  kindly, leslie brought over some ‘emergency’ medical supplies that she thought would be best given what she’d known about jen’s current state — little do the heroes know a surprise awaited within the box.  bruce had meticulously moved the heavily scented items out of the private dining and living rooms they were going to use for their date to avoid the wrath of jen’s nausea.
