Dove: you have a break from tour?? I thought you’d just be going non-stop. Dove: hey, that’s half the time. Improvement. Dove: I’m in New York but I could be in LA, if you want me to be. It’s not too bad of a flight. When are you free? LUKE: right?? but our managers are nice and let us escape sometimes. LUKE: how about you come tomorrow? then maybe we can head out to napa together? LUKE: but only if you want.

Luke really wasn’t a fan of heights, which is why getting him to do the hot air balloon ride was nothing short of a miracle. He told himself it was because he wanted to be more adventurous and do everything Napa Valley had to offer, but he knew it probably had more to do with the fact that he simply wanted to spend more time with Dove. Reconnecting with her a couple weeks back had been a pleasant surprise, the man once convinced that any chance of them being friends not something that could ever be on the table. Glancing out over the side of the basket, Luke silently took in the beauty of Napa Valley. Even with the nervousness buzzing just below the surface, he had to admit the view was worth it. “Enjoying yourself up here?” He asked Dove after a moment, attention and eyes flickering to her.
