fingertips picked and pulled at the fraying fabric of the black sweater the boy wore as dark eyes scanned the area. he didn’t LIKE it, not at all, if he was being genuine about it. meeting new people always sent a shiver up his spine enough on its own WITHOUT factoring in that this was not a social call. add illegal substances into the mix and anxiety peaked at a boil in the young man.

when robby said he couldn’t deal to him anymore —— some moral high ground BULLSHIT about tate being too young for coke —— he’d found himself in a panic. his usual order (a couple crosstops and a few grams of coke a week) was something the blonde counted on routinely, a safety net from the HELL that was sobriety. when robby pulled the plug on their set up, it looked a bit like things had gone down in flames entirely. luckily, there had never been such a thing as a truly PIOUS drug dealer, and a new connection’s name was passed along in the same conversation. someone with a few less HANG UPS about just giving people what the fuck they were paying for.

and that’s how he had come to find himself sitting on a park bench, CONSPICUOUS little shit, waiting for a face he was only told he’d know when he saw it. you’ll know him when you see him, robby had said of the character, he’s a fucking godfrey, whatever THAT meant.
