#double don

Don used to be a scientist, right? So what happens when he tampers with nature and tries to make clones?

With nobody willing to be his guinea pig, there's only one person he can perform experiments on.

Himself.

He isolates himself in his lab while the experiment begins. But he's got no clue how it's going to play out.

He starts feeling tired, dizzy, and ill. Nothing in his body feels right. There are new bones and organs growing amongst his own, and they certainly don't belong to him. He feels almost lifeless, like he's decomposing. His skin is pale and covered in oozing sores. There's something growing just beneath the layers of skin and flesh on his body, but his mind is too fogged up for him to tell what it is. He's been in the lab for days.

He's so tired.

His eyes are bloodshot, and he can barely breathe. He's all cold and clammy, his clothes are sticking to his sweaty skin. He looks like a corpse.

He feels numb.

But on Friday, the excruciating pain begins. Like whatever is beneath his skin is trying desperately to break free. Throughout the day, the pain only increases. When the clock strikes 11pm, it happens.

The clone bursts from his skin, climbing out of his back. Don can't even scream.

Aside from the congealed blood clinging to it's skin, the clone looks like a carbon copy of him, down to the smallest details. Including the scar tissue under his pecs.

Don collapses to the ground, he no longer has the strength to stand on his own two legs.
