Gallarin / Dotterin / Oriolin
(larinhood / terinhood / olinhood)
A term for those who experienced motherhood, fatherhood, or parenthood that was neither, regardless of their current or assigned gender. Additionally, terms for these experiences that don't use gendered language, for those that would prefer not to use them.
Examples of ways someone might use this term:
A gallarin trans man who had a child while identifying as a woman, and experienced a motherhood (larinhood) that he considers important to him.
A dotterin transfem with a kid who still calls herself a father/dad and therefore experiences fatherhood (terinhood).
An oriolin trans woman who had a child while identifying as a man, but doesn't feel connection to either "fatherhood" or retroactively labelling it "motherhood", and calls the experience olinhood instead.
Note that olinhood is not synonymous with a nonbinary parenthood: it just describes parenthood that was not paternal or maternal, and can be used for many different gender experiences.
