There are many discussions about Sakura's abilities and how she's a "copy-paste" of Tsunade. In a sense, I understand this perspective. Compared to Sasuke and Naruto, she doesn't have a technique that distinctly sets her apart from her master. I know the cherry blossom impact is supposed to be slightly different from Tsunade's chakra enhanced strength. But I don't think that's enough.
So I tried to think of something. She doesn't need many different skills, just one or two that are unique to her. If I could add something to her arsenal, I would either:
- let her use a double axe; I feel it would suit her. Plus, I can't recall any character wielding one in the manga.
- or give her a doton technique. I have an idea, but I'm not sure I can describe it well. She would create a wall of doton for defense and then punch it. Since she's so skilled at chakra control, this (her punch) would generate different kinds of doton projectiles (like kunai, shuriken, etc.). If I ever write a Naruto fanfic, I'd probably give her that ability.
Oh, and I would keep Inner Sakura as her way to break genjutsu.
