First reference for the nesting doll au
Its Doll!!!
This au is going to differ in art style from my usual stuff, tried to stick a lot closer to the show's art style and will continue to for the other art in this au (rest in piece whiskers)
Some general au information: Since Uzi and Doll are swapping, she's now the main character of the show and she gets a sick as hell sniper rifle (you can learn more about it here). She also gets some dedicated clothing articles that her parents left behind in the form of the hat, jacket, and the choker, I think she's a lot more sentimental in this au and really truly loved her parents. Doll is motivated by their deaths and like Uzi takes up arms against the dds herself, she already has the solver by the time of the pilot but she doesn't know how to use it opting to focus on making the rifle. In the pilot she does in fact kill V yet afterwards she's left feeling the same as before seeing that her vengeance quest did not fulfill her and was just keeping her from mentally dealing with her parents' deaths. Lizzy and Doll are very much still "friends" at the start of this au and Doll has been telling Lizzy all about her vengeance plans, obviously she's worried about her but can't bring herself to stop. She ends up getting roped into the plot when Doll asks her to stand watch at the doors while she leaves the bunker, and when Doll comes back accompanied by the dds, Lizzy, in fear, abandons her.
Some other details in the ref: she has the photo of V and still has the same knife motif from the show. Probably the most important detail is her solver form, I see a lot of people make Doll a moth, and I thought it'd be fun to make her solver form a moth, since uzi is a lot more batlike.
Big congrats to @thedawningofthehour for completing your second massive book in The Dawning of the Hour series!!! This is a scene from Chapter 39 of Third From the Son, and I could scream about more, but Im scared to say any spoilers from the very last chapter! THAT ENDING!!!!

So, I was reading Third From the Son, DOTH, by Faiakishi, and I got to that infamous moment where Galois yells at Leo about his brother being dead and being consumed by crabs at the bottom of the ocean. If in itself the scene of him on the verge of a mental breakdown due to the sadness, confusion and guilt (among other emotions) that thinking about Donatello causes him and his ending brought me strong images, this definitely cements them. As is my custom, I had to use my older sibling's cell phone to draw.
I did my best, don't strangle me too hard. I tried!
I really like this work and its construction, not only of characters, but of worlds. I had made other drawings before, but I didn't dare to upload them. hope you like.
