Door 18 of the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar
today we are opening the eighteenth door! and i must say... i was both right, and wildly, wildly wrong.
i present to you --
LEGO Filius Flitwick? i GUESS that’s okay. minifigs are always good but... Flitwick? really? we are within a week of the end of the calendar and you throw this at us? above Malfoy, Snape, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Ginny, Neville, Luna, Hagrid, Sirius, Lupin... FLITWICK?
this is okay, i guess. like, he’s cute! he’s charming! it has a LEGO bowtie (and two to spare) i can reappropriate for my LEGO lesbians collection, and he’s a fantastic wizard & head of Ravenclaw house but... FLITWICK??? what an odd choice.
he’s a minifig but... i just think there were so many more deserving of the well-sought after spot of “advent calendar minifig”. goodness, i’d even swap Minerva out for some of the others i suggested.
a begrudging 7/10, because he’s a minifig but... why?

When he came home that day, he found Mc in the kitchen, baking cookies with Saeyoung. Jumin heard them giggling and screaming, he walked over to the loud noise and leaned against the doorway to watch them. Both of them wearing an ugly christmas sweater and a red christmas hat. When they noticed the young man, the friends froze in their actions, curiously looking at him. "Hey Jumin! Good that you're home now, will you give us a hand?" His wife asked and smiled at him, after he nodded, Jumin rolled up his sleeves, trying to enter the kitchen but Saeyoung held him back. "Dress code only,... sorry Juju." "How am I supposed to get a christmas sweater like this? And after all may i remind you that this is my kitchen, Luciel?" Saeyoung chuckled and turned around to look at Mc, who walked over to Jumin after she washed her hands. She tried reaching his ear by standing on tiptoes, but he was to tall, so Jumin leaned down a little bit to listen to her. "May be your next door will help you my dear. Follow me." Mc took his hand and they both disappeared into the living room.
After he opened the bag, he pulled out the christmas sweater and looked at it. He raised one brow and his gaze went over to Mc again. "That sure is a... Peculiar sweater. I really like the kittens though. Thank you my love." He put on the sweater and brushed it down to straighten it. It was a blue christmas sweater with white cats and snowflakes all over it. Jumin hugged his wife as she was about to turn around again to join Saeyoung in the kitchen. After kissing her in the crook of her neck, another question came to his mind: "Well do you have another one of those hats? Or does it hide somewhere inside the rest of the bags, too?" His wife laughed softly and poked his nose. "No silly, i have another one in the kitchen. Now hurry up or Saeyoung will eat the whole cookie dough alone." Jumin rolled his eyes and chuckled, but followed her back to the company of their best friend. "Oh my,... an Elly~ sweater!! It's so cool, i looked for one as well, but ended up with this one. It was either cats or space- well actually just space or space." The ginger laughed, while scratching his neck nervously "Anyways! It really suits you Jumin!" "I told you he could wear anything and still look handsome." Mc said and winked in Jumins direction. "So, when you both like it this much, i should wear it on Christmas too, right?" "Yes please!" The friends shouted in sync and started laughing again.
