It really started to bother me a lot.. I had to vote it down even though I would’ve rather not.. I feel I wish I was an anime only fan haha the changed got on my nerves a lot more then I thought they would

I feel bad for gintoki when people call him shiroyasha because gintoki is probably the one who hates that name the most.. And wants to forget it the most.. He probably feels a little sad when hearing it.. Not “ya I’m a war hero praise me”

yah i mean we just need to go back to the Ikkoku Keisei arc. and see how much it hurts him when Oboro calls him Shiroyasha, when he tells him he still has those eyes (WHICH HE DOESNT OBORO YOU FUCKER)...

let’s talk about how Takasugi, Katsura and Gintoki were like brothers during a lot of fucking years i mean, they grew together under the same father and fought together for the same father. All the smiles, the tears, the laughs and the screams they shared…god, they really were brothers. And then Sakamoto joined during a time in which they were starting to wither because of their lost. But even so, there must have been days in which they thought “we are a step closer to being with Shouyou-sensei again”, “we’ll make it”, “i can’t wait to be with Shouyou-sensei again”. They must have had those thoughts, they must have had hope, that’s why they were fighting. But the world is a cruel and merciless place, and hope is a fragile and dangerous thing. I don’t even want to think about the days after they received Shouyou’s head because i can’t bear it. And that’s the thing, if i can barely stand it how did those three do it. Takasugi succumbed into despair, Katsura      also left himself drown in rancour, but Gintoki? Gintoki just drowned in sorrow.

With time, Gintoki and Katsura found some sort of salvation, but Takasugi drowned so bad he can’t reach anything anymore. In his field of vision there’s just hate, it’s like his missing eye also shows how he can’t see love anymore. And there’s not only hate for those who killed his beloved sensei, but there’s also hate for his brothers, for not falling into despair with him.
