I’ve been working on catnip cats since February when I made the top one by drawing on muslin with a micron. This is my latest attempt. Screen printed fabric, heat-n-bond to affix to felt, then decorative sewing machine stitch to turn into a pouch. Left in the capable paws of my play testers. The mice they did laugh and point at his bum Daring each other to tickle his tum But Ludwig won't notice, nor turn a hair To see that the birds were singing right there His owners did worry, they scratched on their heads 'What will we do, the sofa's in shreds His claws need a trim and his whiskers are long He should be out catting, this is all wrong'. But Ludwig just shrugged and sighed in his paws He didn't even yawn, he had lazy jaws He was lazy and fat, stubborn and bored He considered himself something more like a Lord Or a Duke or a King, now that would be nice He wouldn't expect to catch his own mice He would laze in the garden the sun on his back And be fed by a maiden a nice tasty snack. He was lackadaisical and fat A big pudding ginger, a cuddly cat.
