I made donuts in blender following the tutorial, now onto bigger and better things πππ wish me luck!
Donut
I have started learning blender so I can make the 3d models necessary to make this massive game that I've decided I have to do. I got about an hour in and now I'm gonna go lay down cause today was taxing. More progress will be made tomorrow when the world doesn't feel so damn big.
I finally made it through the recent Blender Guru donut tutorial as I try to shift from 3DSMax to something more opensource-
Not a super clean render as my current setup is lower spec but this is an amazing first step as I try to make my way towards an indie game dev career :D

π© my tutorial donuts are finally done π©

i touched this up in Ibispaint a little bit
edit: these look way more saturated on my phone than on my computer :( I tried lowering it (although it's fairly similar), also here's a posterized version cause I like how it looks:
I did the donut tutorial! I'm so proud of myself ππ€© (lol)
I wanna learn how to create 3D environments in particular, mainly for comic-making purposes. Anyway, this was a great tutorial and I learned a lot as someone without a ton of experience with 3D :>
