Justice is a major arcana and somewhat of a brutal one at that, especially in examining one’s own flaws. Justice is cause and effect, karma, morality, depending on what one wishes to name it. You must be truthful with yourself and others, understand and accept that your present circumstances are not independent of your past. Until you allow yourself that clarity, even that admission of guilt, should it apply, moving forward may be impossible. Upright is hopeful, however- should you seek that truth, freedom may followed.

The six of swords is classically depicted as a shrouded figure holding a bundle of swords, being carried across a body of water to a nearby land. It is a card of turmoil and change, though not often pleasant. In it’s inverted state, it shows one gripping too tightly to the blades, the weights of the past. You carry with you a heavy burden, one that you must come to terms with before the waters will calm and you will reach the land beyond.

The knight of cups is a tough card to pin down, as tough as the matters of the heart he represents. A knight carrying no weapons, riding a white horse in no rush. The knight may be an event, a part of you, or someone in your life. Regardless, they carry with them an invitation of the mind and the heart, something intuitive and transformative; the knight urges you to follow your emotions to something greater. Still, the knight carries with him purpose, if not immediately evident- some action must be taken, lest you tarry in the land of imagination too long.
