I have just finished reading this article about how “genius” David Milch lost millions in gambling. According to the author, the culture of gambling pervades Hollywood. Gamblers Anonymous includes many people who have blown away multi-million dollar fortunes. This article says a lot about the culture of greed and degeneracy in Hollywood, often excused by the alleged “genius” of the perpetrators. 

So today was the Melbourne Cup. Now I don't usually gamble. But today I put in a few dollars considering it was raising money for works "movember". So I pick 2 horse out of an envelope. Completely random. My first pick came last and died straight after the race (Now that's pretty bad in itself) and my second pick, died not long after. That's both horses. 2 out of 22. Dead. And I picked them! I feel like I jinxed them. On another note. RIP! 🏇🏇
