[EN] So, during our trip we also visited Książ Castle. A very beautiful place — with gardens, history, and underground tunnels. And yet... I was hit by that all-too-familiar feeling: I’d heard so much about it beforehand that the reality didn’t quite live up to the expectations.
Two of the shots are from the palm house, which is also part of the castle complex. You buy a combined ticket — although, apparently, it’s possible to visit them separately.
By the way: the “Restauracja Rycerska” at the castle serves absolutely phenomenal food. The cauliflower in pistachio sauce was out of this world. I literally had chills eating it. After that visit, I feel like going back and lowering my ratings for every other restaurant on Google.
Seriously — it was something else.
[PL] No więc, w trakcie wycieczki odwiedziliśmy także Zamek Książ. Bardzo ładne miejsce – z ogrodami, historią, podziemiami. Aczkolwiek… dopadł mnie ten znajomy efekt: tyle się o nim wcześniej nasłuchałem, że rzeczywistość nieco nie dorosła do wyobrażeń.
Dwa kadry są z palmiarni, która również należy do kompleksu zamkowego. Bilet kupuje się wspólny, choć – zdaje się – można też osobno.
Przy okazji: Restauracja Rycerska na zamku serwuje absolutnie fenomenalne jedzenie. Kalafior w sosie pistacjowym to jakiś totalny kosmos. Miałem wręcz dreszcze, jedząc go. Po tej wizycie mam ochotę obniżyć oceny wszystkim innym restauracjom w Google. Serio – to było coś niezwykłego.
