These beautiful recorders are recent acquisitions to our collection - and are giving some of us flashbacks to music lessons as children! They were made by Arnold Dolmetsch, who revived the popularity of early music and recreated and restored many historic instruments in the late 19th to early 20th century. In a nice South London connection, Dolmetsch worked briefly as a violin master at Dulwich College.
