So I haven't really posted about it here at all but I'm in the process of building an Astarion ball joint doll. He's gonna be around 75cm tall when he's all put together. Anyway did some work on accessories for him today painting Rhapsody. I have several sizes because, since I don't yet have his body I'm not entirely sure what size things need to be for him, so we have a range. for some further context on how fucking huge he's gonna be, here are some goblets I have for him next to a solo cup

I didn't think I'd have another dolly update so soon, but Astarion’s head came in today! So far, we've got that and his wig together and my bestie has a doll with the same body type that Astarion will have once it's finished being made and shipped, so that's what he's currently being modeled on.

BTW his wig is goat hair 🐐need more styling

Dollstarion update, I finished his colormatch, I think I did a pretty good job for my first attmept. unfortunately I have done crimes. I can't believe I did this to him

I gave myself the totally arbitrary deadline of November 30th to finish sculpting Astarion and I am coming in just under the wire. His left hand need more work and his feet are still drying so I couldn't string him completely.

I am so exciting to get him complete, but the nice thing is that in this state, I can take measurements so I can get started on pattern making and sewing.

Next up: engineering all of his joints!
