A pretty doll got me thinking about the mechanics of dolls as tists. While thereās certainly potential for hypnotized hypnotist, thatās not quite what Iām talking about. Iām thinking of a more rp-based situation with an possessed doll. The physical doll is perfectly normal, and canāt move without a puppeteer, but they strings are imbued with the will of the puppet, and anyone who touches the strings will find themselves captive to the doll. Thatās not to say theyāre under itās control, though- instead, the subject finds themself compelled to move the doll in ways they donāt comprehend. They move so strangely, yet in such a way thatās just easy to follow along at the tug of seen unseen force. Swaying and drifting and spinning in the air, gradually becoming more smooth in its movements. Soon, itās walking like a human, willing your hands to grant it an uncanny facsimile of life. With a snap, your slump forward into their grasp. The strings entangle you that much more, and you swear their eyes have started glowing, though you donāt mind anymore, do you? Youāre just a thing to move around- a tool for the puppet.
