I rousted from bed around around 11:30. (Day off, I'm allowed.) And I had a particular hankering for Doke Black Fusion. Before making breakfast, I went about searching for the sample bag of the 2019 second flush I opened a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't find it. . . I checked two different grocery bags of backlogged samples, and it wants in either of them. After an hour of excavating, I did locate a sample of Doke Black Fusion *FIRST* flush 2019 - unopened. Totally spaced it in my usual tea reverie this summer. So, I ended up brewing that instead. . . As I primed the kettle, and dropped the leaves into the pot, I found something.
