When Emre Olceroglu went fishing one morning in New Jersey, he was probably hoping for a very different catch than what he ended up finding.

As he was fishing, he heard horrible screeching coming from a nearby tree. What he found was a baby owl that had managed to get itself all tangled up in some fishing line. While trying to set the owl free, things got a bit dicey for a second. The poor creature ended up passing out from shock. Eventually, Olceroglu was able to get it untangled.

It just goes to show you that the kindness of a Good Samaritan can go a long way when it comes to helping those in need. When you go out into the woods, always take your trash home with you. Just imagine how horribly this would have ended for the owl if it hadn’t gotten some help.

Nicole Stream was traveling with her five-month-old baby boy and her best friend when they got into a horrific wreck that sent their car crashing into a frozen Wisconsin marsh. The two women and baby were lucky to survive the crash and plunge, but things looked extremely bleak when Nicole couldn’t free her baby from the car seat. Luckily, the crash didn’t go unnoticed and countless strangers risked their own lives by diving into the icy lake to save the two adult women and baby.

Days later, they were able to thank the heroes who saved them in an extremely emotional reunion.

We need more of this type of story in the news. People helping, loving, and caring for each other. Bless them all.
